Xbox Live Arcade Sales Triple After New Xbox Experience

But what does 650% mean? If they sold 10 Unos the previous week, that means they sold 65 the week they're reporting these sales. Big deal. You have no point of reference for the increase so it could be pretty meaningless.

That's why this...

...is right on.

It is PR statement, not a sales-age thread so Who Cares?!?!

I wrote my self evaluation at work last month, if you read it you would think the company would have gone under if not for me. PR statements are the same concept, get over it.

Breaking news: people buy things they can find.

While it may be easier to find old XBLA games now, I find the new Marketplace more difficult to use.
Before NXE, I could just go to the New Releases section and see ALL the new additions to the Marketplace in one place, games, demos, themes, etc. That is no longer possible for some stupid reason...

Like the previous poster said, Uno has never been off the top 10 list of most popular XBLA games. So again, like he said, thats a pretty big punch anyway.

Of course this is going on that hopefully more than "10" people buy anything off XBLA per week. Considering my rockband purchases, yeah, its prolly significant :p

I'n not sure what you mean by that. Are you saying it was easier for you to navigate through a jumbled mess of EVERYTHING on one page? How hard is it to go to what you want to look for (arcade game, original, add on, picture pack what have you) and look for the "whats new" in there?

Did you have a 360 before NXE? Because that's not how the new items on Marketplace were organized, they were still separated by category as well, but they were all in one place so it was much easier to look through.

You're right, Dave Long, no one but you and a few other enlightened souls can see through the veil of mystery and deceit that MiKKKro$$$$$$$haft has erected in order to make those poor, poor Xbox 360 owners believe dirty corporate lies. You and a few others are truly unique flowers, a delicate snowflake that will melt if attention is not paid it.

So, so special.

Yeah I've had one since 06. It was a pain to look through stuff. You could hit the shoulder buttons for certain categories but they're not as well laid out like they are now. You can either look at new stuff, or pick by genre or starting letter. It got way worse when for a while before the nxe they were integrating Arcade with Originals and New stuff, THAT was a major pain in the butt. So like instead of the blade where I go to Live Arcade, its now just log on to live and then sort through there.

The worst thing was going through game add ons or arcade games if you picked all. Cause then you'd have to scroll forever with the trigger button till you hit what you want. If I want to browse just the Ns, I can do it. Its spiffy.

The NXE is very streamlined and I find it a lot easier to navigate. Add to the fact they throw in some channels that show off deals for certain games instead of having to wait on the old GUI for some changing add to cycle and possibly miss is pretty awesome.
