Yes agree GTAVI will surely sell systems but it's more like a staple -- it's hard to call it a 'killer app' in the conventional sense as it'll be on other platforms. It should be at least equivalently good or even more invigorating for Xbox hardware sales.

I think games like that boost sales for everyone, but in this case mostly for PS5 especially if they have marketing.

The base ps5 will be relevant for 5 years at least just like the PS4 still is today. They're still generations they're just longer now and overlap.

Well overall it's mostly because of the covid virus. It happened in 2020, couldn't find the Xbox Series X S or the PS5 in stores anywhere and it really sucked. Finally after 2 years in 2022 we could buy it in stores again. Microsoft ended Xbox game making as soon as Xbox 360 came out. Xbox 360 games stopped being made like only 2 years after Xbox One came out. PS3 games still came like 4 years. So overall Sony provides more support for there old consoles longer. Microsoft is always like ok maybe 2 years, now kill it. Or they just go no more it's dead right away.

I don't think there was a time when the series s was not available.

Imagine being at Xbox and seeing, week after week, numbers plummet, subscribers churn, and your studios deliver flops every time. the moral has to be pretty low, unless the delusion runs pretty deep (which I think is the case)

If you're still sitting in front of a blank screen holding your Xbox controller and waiting for "Next Year" like Spencer promised, then of course that is the case.
