I had a 42" in mine, but I had the spare change lol.

Some other crazy dude in my halls spent all his first term tuition loan money on a 50" HDTV (which at the time was super expensive) along with a new console. He spent the next few months eating mostly pot noodles, often for every meal of the day. His Kitchen cupboard was literally filled with them...
 
What are the odds the deal was meant to go live at midnight, and it's only out of stock until then? Haha.

If not, I'll probably head to my nearby Best Buy an hour early and hope to get one in store. Unfortunately it opens at 11am so I wouldn't be surprised if the deal is more widely known by then. :(

Got a feeling the ad will go live again. Maybe they are fixing glitch. Hopefully some pissed off Sony fans bought them so they can play Tomb Raider early lol

Nobody asking yet but trust me the flood will come tomorrow. We have a decent stock of Xbones, I see us having none left.

Lol, Im pushing OMS because this is gonna be a warehouse race, stores gonna push stock and prob reup twice before next sunday.
 
Gonna try and pick this up tomorrow morning, setting my expectations low though because I rarely end up with this kind of stuff in tow

Oh, believe me, I get it. The ship from store thing they started doing, what, a year and a half ago? Two years now? At least helped move product that was sitting for awhile. But with a deal like this, it's just going to be lots of those damn stickers.

We've already gotten calls about it, asking if they could swap systems. If Sony wants to pay the difference for the TVs, then I'm sure we'll see a similar deal. Will be a good week for the XB1 in our stores.

You think there's a chance my local BB won't honor the $470 I ended up paying before they took the deal down online?
 
I can only look at the scanned pics of the ad right now, but there's no mention of limited quantities. In fact, the blurb right below it states that unless otherwise noted, rainchecks are available for their advertised prices.

So if they don't have it in-store, as far as I can tell, if you ask for a raincheck for it, they're supposed to give one to you.
 
I work here, I know. No rain check but you can order one. It doesn't matter to a lot of people who want one today and won't be happy about waiting until later this week for an order to arrive.

Wasn't really directed at you, more of a general "if you want this, don't let the store feed you a line about not being able to get a raincheck or order".

Even if you think there's no chance of that, because of a company memo or how the promotion is being paid for, there are still idiot "proactive" managers out there when it comes to sales, and someone here is bound to get a shovelful of bullshit from them.
 
So it shows the TV and Xbox One MCC as in stock at my nearest store, but I can't add them to cart and order them for in store pickup. When I click add to cart the next page loads and it says my cart is empty. What gives?

They probably blocked off store pickup late last night because so many were ordering. It saying it is in stock may not be accurate depending on when and how they update the system.
 
Well I'm at the store, can't believe I missed it last night. Anyone want to guess on high the chances are of both still being in stock in stores?

Dang. I also just noticed there's a listing for the bundle instead of adding both to the cart separately, so that's probably my problem too.

The closest Best Buy is a good 45 minutes away. I don't think it's worth the trip when it's probably not going to happen for me anyway.

Just order in store and pick up or ship to home this week. There's close to a thousand TVs in our district warehouse.
 
I'm at my local best buy standing outside 30 minutes before it's opening like a true loser but the website says it's available in store and I'm the only person here so far so I should be getting it today.

Why is this not live yet on their website? Or rather how can they sell out when they haven't technically started selling the bundle.
 
Mine are both ready for pickup as I added each separately last night. I bet I can always return one if I wanted and get the cheaper price since they weren't bundled. I got separate pickup notifications. I'll keep both at that price it's great as I needed a new bedroom TV and wanted the X1.
 
So I just drove to NH (to avoid sales tax) to pick this up and they told me it was online only. And it's sold out online. Bummed out. Did anyone pick this up in store?
