Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Thread: Everyone wants it, no one uses it

Out of interest, with TTT2, they only described it as "free for backwards-compatible play on Xbox One" - does that also mean it's free on 360, or have they done something unpleasant behind the scenes? I know someone with a 360 who'd want it if they can get it...

You can buy it from the marketplace website so it should work on 360. Only restriction is that you have to have Gold.

It's free on 360 as well. It's a full, normal digital license, like any other 360 game you buy on the marketplace. You just need Gold to "purchase it" for free.

Your point? If it wasnt on the main stage its not going to be anywhere else. E3 is the main conference for me and most people i might add yes they still have shit going on but nothing compared to the conference so yes it has come and gone. Like many other posts last two pages its crazy they didnt even bring bc up not even a nod but made the biggest deal out of it last year. Just seems like the support has dropped off alot.

I think they already confirmed that they moved Crackdown to 2017 and that they won't show it at E3, but I can see them showing it at GamesCom which would be in exactly 2 months

What's with the negativity? They didn't show a lot on stage because there's only so much time, but that doesn't say anything about ongoing support.

My point is that you're talking about selling your Xbox because they didn't announce crackdown. We know crackdown is coming. Just seems odd to me. Sorry to hear about the personal stuff though :/
 
With those reddit amazon card leaks a while ago I was really looking forward to playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit again.

Looks like I'll be waiting some more :(
 
Seriously, Phil seems to have done close to a dozen media interviews in the last 48 hours, but no one has asked him about when the next Backward Compatibility titles are coming - and why it was only briefly alluded to at the press event?

That seems like lazy journalism. It was the biggest news from Microsoft just one year ago and we're not hearing the appropriate follow-up questions from journalists about its lack of presence just twelve months later....

Hardly. Games have kept on trucking out and E3 is for new shit. Lazy journalism is hilarious. wouldn't have asked him, would have been a waste fo the time I had to interview him.

Its not that big a deal to most people. Sucks, but it is what it is.
 
No post that Phil confirmed Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon are coming to BC? He said they are being worked on right now for BC at Microsoft.

Since I'm still waiting on Skate 3, I believe any BC announcement when they happen.
 
Kind of bummed the Xbox One S didn´t get a couple % of CPU/GPU boost.

This would probably make all the games / game parts running worst than xbox 360 be on par or even better :-)
 
How does the Deus Ex Director's Cut run on Xbone?

I remember that version of the game was pretty fucked on PS3, hoping it's better here.
 
Phil Spencer just said on the YouTube E3 live show that backwards compatibility announcements are coming, he said "I think tomorrow" so maybe not concrete but this week for sure.
