Fuck. Yes. I've been waiting for the expansion pass to go on sale since Black Friday of 2015 when I bought the base game. As soon as I finish Horizon I'm jumping back into The Witcher 3 to finish the main game and do the DLC.

Yes, you should not hear on those people. The game is comprehensible on its own. However, if you dig it and decide to delve further into the universe of the witcher (games and books alike) you really will be immersed quite a bit.

Of those games on sale, here are my thoughts for the ones I've played:

Beyond Eyes: Decent narrative experience but it's barely got game play. If you're into that, it's worth a shot. I gave it a 4/5 because I loved the little girl and her cat.

Dear Esther: I hated this game. Can't recommend it to anyone even at reduced price.

Fragments of Him: Sort of like Beyond Eyes in terms of being a narrative experience with no compelling game play. But the narrative was weak. I gave it a 2.5/5.

In Between: Incredible game, one of the best pure puzzle games on the system. Wonderful story and narrative and music and game play. 5/5 and in my top 10 of 2016.

Never Alone: 4/5, awesome side scrolling puzzle game. Cute characters and has insightful educational qualities re: aboriginal near the arctic.

The Bunker: Horrible game. Unbelievably boring game play and awful acting.

The Little Acre: Wonderful little puzzle game. Has some issues with controls but it is a beautifully satisfying adventure game. I gave it a 4/5.

Thomas Was Alone: 5/5, absolutely fantastic gem. One of my favourite side scrolling puzzle games ever.

Three Fourths Home: This is not worth a look. Barely. I remember liking the story (a girl is struggling to make her mark and not disappoint her parents) but the presentation and game play are so basic it's not worth even a small amount of money or time to invest in this. I remember the first chapter hurting my fingers because you had to hold RT just to keep the conversation going.

As well as WWE 2k17 having a free play weekend for gold members (9:00 AM PST Wednesday, March 29 and running to 11:59 PM PST Monday, April 3), Titanfall 2 will also have a free trail weekend (March 30th - April 3rd).

It actually worked just fine! I started the download Monday. On Tuesday, i was able to launch the game and play a match. There was no formal announcement it was available until Wednesday.

Probably the best thread to ask: Are Mass Effect 2 and 3 only available on the Xbox One through EA Access? I've been able to purchase ME1 digitally, but ME2 and 3 seem to be locked behind the EA subscription?

Yep, at the mo the only digital option is to sub to EA Access (A nice bonus to EA Access is that you can grab the Japanese version of ME2 and have another achievement list to work through). EA have put up the multi disc Dead Space games for individual purchase on 360/One so it's possible that the Mass Effect games will show up at some point.

Oh, how do I do that? Wouldn't mind an incentive to do so. I'm soon finished with a ME1 playthrough and I want to take my character through ME2 and 3!

Switch to Japan as your location (All the UI text will be in Norwegian/English, whichever you have set), search for mass effect 2 and download. After starting the download you can switch back to your normal location and it will continue downloading.

The game text will be in english and the DLC was never released in JPN so only the base 1000gs is available.

You have to fanny about to import a ME1 save. If you are online it will disconnect and send you back to the main menu so you have to go offline, import and play until you can save then go back online. I don't know if a ME2(JP) save will load into ME3.

It a nice bonus but it's not suitable if you are doing a full dlc run through.

I noticed the Xbox one downloads different versions of the 360 games based on location before:
I used to have my location as Great Britain before they let you have Norwegian with English text (I prefer having stuff in English). I then noticed Forza Horizon 1 was in English, while when I later re-downloaded it with Norway as location all the talking and commentary was in Norwegian!
