Didn't go to the midnight launch at the store (in Australia) bit did turn up at 8am to pick it up. Unfortunately its sitting in the boot of my car while I'm at work all day

The facial detection stuff is pretty neat, if I'm facing away from the camera at my desk and I turn to look at the screen it instantly signs me in.

It'll be quite awhile, but I'll get there eventually, and not having to spend extra on the games is already a pretty big deal. Being optimistic, I'll realistically have one around April, maybe May next year.

Been out podcasting all day, but still checking my Amazon app regularly. Current status: Fernley, NV. Pretty confident it should get here in the AM tomorrow.
It's damn cold. My store is having 3 queue's. A VIP queue, for the first 30 people who pre-paid for it. Then the pre-pay queue, but they aren't sorting people till we're inside so there's gonna be a big hustle of people rushing to that queue. Then theres regular walk in.

Believe it says "Shipping being prepared". And it has said that the entire day.
Amazon is like: "you'll be getting it on 22. November, or not, lol"
To answer my own question - I was stuck on "Getting ready..." in the update for 15 minutes or so. I just turned it off and on again and it's fine now. Pretty quick actually for my slow ass connection.
Also, MS, there are people with MAC filters on their routers. Perhaps give the MAC address information for the console on the connect to WiFi screen if there is no other way of finding that first.

Ms/Azure/XBL was jus having major issues for about 20 minutes. Mostly looks good now. At least you can access the home page

Decided it was too cold outside this evening to be standing in a queue somewhere so I fired up Chrome, loaded up several websites and ... I just managed to order a Day1 Console Forza edition from Tesco Direct. Don't think I've ever hit refresh so many times in such a short period of time ever.
