Welp, not looking good. For some reason my Dead Rising 3 won't work anymore. It loads into a splashscreen for a minute and then tells me Dead Rising has taken too long to start so it fails. What a load of shit. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried reinserting disc and resetting Xbox.

EDIT: Okay, 4th time's a charm. I'm seriously worried that it's gonna happen again though. Fingers crossed it doesn't. Anyone else has this scary experience?

I don't think so, man. I can't envisage how that would work without the DRM.

If you install a disc game, then you have the option to buy it at full price through the console. Then you can sell your disc.

Try deleting the install, and reinstalling the game by entering it into your Xbox.

They took pre-orders, but most stores should have some extra to sell to walk-ins. I'd call or go in to make sure they still have a spot for you.

Hehehe..mine's kinda similar. But I preordered Super Mario 3D World and Tearaway in a different store and Zelda is coming from Amazon; since I wasn't expecting to get an Xbox One. Now I'm gettign one and add to that, Forza 5 Limited Edition. At least I had a few coupons and discounts, combined with trade-credit..my wallet was actually quite thankful. XD

If anything, I just want /wish that:
-The firmware update goes fast/smooth.
-The system has no problems/malfunctions.

Tell me about it! Was undecided but the good reviews for Forza and Dead Rising made me decide to try and get one now rather than wait until Titanfall and I guess I got lucky!

They should tie you over nicely till Titanfall drops, and I see these consoles as investments, so your credit card will forgive you I am sure.

I believe that feature was an integral part of the DRM policies, but with the reversal, it has been put on hold.

Basically what you can do now is install the game from a disc and buy it digitally.

The feature DOES still work in a way. If you know someone who has the game, you can install it on your machine. If there is no disc in the drive it should ask if you want to purchase a digital copy since it's already installed. Obviously if you bought the disc you're paying twice however.
