Yeah, I did it last night through the HDMI input, however, there is a noticeable lag using the mouse and whatnot but that would not be a problem playing videos.

Thanks for posting this. I won't waste my time doing this now. I will just keep my devices ( PC and Xbox ) on different inputs.

Nope. I technically did. Still remember the E3 reveal and how excited I was.

Sucks that I had to leave for work as the game finished installing and I was sleeping when it installed enough to play. Oh well...just 9 more hours.

I am in Berlin but I don't speak German and I'd like to know if you change the dashboard to English, the game voice over and menus are translated as well..

When setting up your Xbox the language you choose automatically filters the available regions. You can't use English for your language and Germany as your region. You would have to choose UK or USA... most games should be multi language and set it according to the OS settings. No idea for BF4 though. Sorry.

Actually having fun with Ryse. Crazy repetitive (especially enemies, begun the clone wars have) but boy is it pretty. Forza is still installing, but looks nice and plays like Forza.


Snapping is pretty slow at times. Hopefully they will speed it up with firmware.

Damn it feels good to be a gamer.

Oh, I have to say Xbox unsnap. Unsap alone doesn't do it. Voice stuff is great.

After having been messing with it for a bit, I am liking what I have seen so far. Controller is fine, just taking some time to get used to the sticks. Voice has been working pretty damn great for me. Last night I was being pretty quiet because my wife was sleeping and it picked me up ok. This morning using regular volume, it works 99% of the time. The whole "Xbox Turn Off" to turn off my cable box, tv, and xbox is pretty great. And "Xbox On" to turn it all back on and do the pretty much instant facial recognition login is pretty friggen sweet. Especially since my game of Killer Instinct is right where I left off. Haven't tried snap yet, and basically I don't see any good use cases for it for the time being. "Xbox Go To <whatever>" is pretty great as well. Voice is definitely the way to get around this OS and you can see they designed it that way.

It's 12.52 here and mine arrived about an hour ago.
Packaging was so damn sexy. All black and shiny. Even the hdmi cable looked hot. Love the little touches... Like my controller has 'day one 2013' written on it... Makes me almost not want to use it.

Just downloading the update now. Had some issues with my shitty wireless service but all is ok now.

You have to go through the TV setup stuff in the settings. I don't have it switching inputs and I don't recall there being an option for it.

Jep... Still enjoying it but i'm playing on centurion difficulty(?) enemies can hit pretty hard.
Dont get the complaining about microtransaction you get quiet a lot of valor had no problem getting the upgrades so far.

Question to those of you with Ones. When saying "Xbox, On" can you say "Xbox, Turn On"? I ask because on the 360 with Kinect, it allowed you a certain bit of leeway when saying commands (so you could insert words and it would still pick it up.). Just curious.
