So far only played KI and DR3. Both were fun, but can definitely feel the low res on my 50" screen. Especially in KI where it jumps at you straight from the ugly menus. A higher res would definitely be beneficial.

Tried a bit of Youtube, installed Twich, Upload Studio, Skype, Skydrive (it's awesome having access to your pics there).

Really liking the controller, maybe it's cause it's new but it just feels right in your hand.

Oh and I changed my regional settings to Canada and could redeem my codes no problem, played some DR3 and everything was in English and I'm having an easier time controlling Kinect than with the French interface haha.

not sure if this deserves its own thread but how fucked is the party system

You have to create a party that corresponds to the game you are playing so some of your freinds cant join because they are not playing

me and some friend spent about 20 mins trying to get a private forza lobby going and just gave up...the system is completely fucked

you cant just simply invite to game like you could on the 360 (unless im missing something) and when one player puts in another game while others are playing the party game one or 2 people get kicked

its like they thought of a way to make playing with your friends even more complicated...the 360 method worked great...the one is just broken atm and god damn annoying

Battlefield 4 looks average but framerate is solid
Forza 5 is great so far
Killer Instinct seems fun but I'm hesitant to buy into it considering they only let you try one character
UI is nice, voice commands work well (aussie accent here)

Congratz to everyone who got a One! I have a couple of questions: How is the UI and the voice commands ? And when will it release in Denmark!?

UI is fast and voice commands recognise my voice nearly all the time.


Anyone got a springy sound when pressing down on D-Pad? Might have faulty controller here.

One thing you guys should all check - Settings -> TV. Go in there and check the resolution. I have a great TV, two years old, and it defaulted to 720p.

There is definitely a joke to be had here somewhere...

I've pretty much accepted I won't be getting one until after Christmas at this point. That's fair enough, I've got plenty of games in my backlog and should have a lot more luck finding a PS4 next week, so it's not all bad...

I've just got it to work a few times. I find the opposite works for me, virtually saying "XboxOn" with no gap.

Edit: Yeah, now we're whistling dixie. Barely a gap between the two words is working every time.

Anyone having trouble saving videoclips? It just doesn't seem to be working for me. Also has anyone been able to play DR 3 without the update. Always seems to exit after 30 seconds after launching. Bought KI just a while ago and me and my cousins are having a blast. Really Jago does not do the game justice.

Not really. You just need to get one with a repeater, like this one.

As it's a digital signal, it either works or it doesn't, and the "lag" is imperceptible. No worries. Just don't buy a crap cable and you'll be fine.
