As much as I love Kinect's sign in, I much rather have it start singing me in automatically now, where is the option to do that?
I concur with this. Kinect sign in will be great if my wife wants to join me, but i'd rather it default to me.
That did the trick. I hope the game stays in my dash when I switch back back to de-DE.

Any other head tracking impressions? This post on /r/xboxone got me pretty excited...
After waiting a slightly stupid time for the BF4 to install I've just started to play the first mission. After a couple of minutes in I managed to drive a car where you can use head tracking and wow, just wow, works perfectly! I do a 40" screen so I can turn my head side to side while seeing my screen well which helps but it was really, really responsive and followed my head movements immediately.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that it's not a gimmick that barely works

I set mines up in complete darkness and I was suprised how good the Kinect displayed my image on the tv. This thing is awesome

I'm not in love yet. I absolutely hate the ui. Hopefully once I start up dead rising today I'll be a bit more pleased. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but it doesn't feel as streamlined to me as a certain other console I bought last week.
The kinect is also awkward to place on my set up due to how huge it is. So it's just sitting all weird in the front middle.
I bought this system with an open mind and I want to give it a fair shot. I hope it'll grow on me.

So, when hooking it up to your cable box, do pipe the cable feed through the HDMI that normally hooks up the box to the TV, or do you add another HDMI feed that goes through the Xbox? Guess I'm asking -- can you watch TV normally without turning the Xbox on?

Thanks. Unfortunately, twitch seems to hate my current laptop (or vice versa) and only works intermittently and even then it's a laggy mess. I should have had a new PC over a month ago, but that didn't work out as intended. Still waiting on a friend to finish building it. (family issues, so don't feel it's fair to push him to finish it)

Is there a voice command to being up the menu? Or at least to quit the current app/game when you are the the main menu.

I start the NFL app and the first thing that happens is someone yelling at me. I don't want to hear it any more so I press B and I'm back at the home screen. He is still talking. Loudly.

You could call today to ask if they are willing to put one aside for you, just to make sure. Also note that there are no extra controllers that can be bought. I'm not sure about the games.
There are 2 bundles: 1 with FIFA and 1 with CoD.

My impressions so far are negative. This is easily the junkiest console I have ever seen since sega Saturn and the controller doesn't feel good in my hands (it's the triggers that are an issue) The original xbox was far superior. Also unless your in a living room setting I wouldn't even use kinect since it's an extra thick cable that you have to run and he kinect sensor is pretty big itself.
How we went from 360 and 360s tot his is a real head scratcher. Hopefully I have fun with the games.
