I wanted to set English as systen language, but then there was no Austria available - So I choose German>Austria - as of now. Did not log in yet.

For those who have gotten their system, how you feel about the ridges on the analog sticks? After playing for a couple hours my thumb felt a little...pruney? Like I had soaked it in water for a while.

Maybe I'm pressing down on the sticks too much?

Yes, cross-game parties chat exists through parties. It sounds like when he refers to party above, he's saying he can't create a private game party, not a chat party.

Seems easy enough to pick Xbox one up at stores, been round the shops this morning and most had stock, The assistant in Argos(big chain store) noticed me looking at the display and started rambling on about the new console, Fifa and price stopped me picking one up for now.
This being English stores, hows everyone else finding stock?

About to jump in and finally try this thing. My brother in law just got his unit and has a brand new 100" projector.

The console is dang sexy. I really think the XBone and PS4 are my favorite looking consoles. So nice. The controller is perfect as expected though I think for the first time ever I prefer the bumpers on the PS4 a bit more.

Going to fire up some Forza then DR3 ahhhh yeah

Picked up my XBone 12 hours ago. Been at work since and have finally unboxed and started updating.
So far so good. Packaging is awesome, really slick. And the connections all had a solid thunk to them, felling really well sorted.

Looking forward to actually getting some hands on time, been super excited all fucking day!

So there's a vanilla version of BF4 and a LE version, both appear to be the same price at some places. Why would they even have a version without that china rising add on?
Now I have to go back to BB with my vanilla version and go pick up the LE at walmart or something. Waste of gas.

I noticed that on a few sites. Some of the games in the Limited editions were even €5 cheaper than the standard ones. LOL

My XBL account still has the AT region so I bought DR3 in my browser but it doesn't show up as download on the console. (The console is set to German - the game isn't sold there) any idea how I can get the download started?

So.. this startup time issue. I shut my X1 off. I chose off and this morning it took all of 20 seconds to boot and I believe it was a cold boot.

Did it not really turn off? Either way I woke up crazy excited to play games. Well, install games anyways :)

Wow my Xbox is out for delivery, but the weather is shit right now at very high winds and sand flying everywhere, hope UPS can still make it through.

I want to know what performance is like on those two prior to dropping cash on them.

Belgium is not a Tier 1 country, but nonetheless XBOX ONE is for sale here in a certain chain of stores. Wierd.

So fellow Belgians, if you want one, hurry up and visit a FNAC! I'm guessing supplies are limited.

I'm a bit worried that reviewers are being lazy since they already did a PS4 review so we won't know of performance issues (other than the resolution differences) for a week or so.

I don't care about the resolutiongate junk, just want to make sure the games aren't janky.

Side note for anyone that uses achievement or time tracking websites for the 360..

Seems to be some freaking out as Xbox.com does not show friends or activity but simply says to use Smartglass for the X1.

I sure hope they provide the info that sites like trueachievements and raptr need to continue to track. If they ignore or change this fact they are really missing the boat and do not understand how much influence those sites had on their popularity.

So we shall see.. hope it gets sorted out.

Had to much to drink last night. Woke up to find this baby sitting on my counter top..



Actually a friend called me up yesterday and said they had received a small added shipment at Gamestop. Got my ass up there and here we are. Beats trying to find one this morning at Target which is also 40 something miles away.

So it was X1 and Tearaway that were my Thursday purchases. Not a bad day, not a bad day at all.

I was having problems with preseason. It would not start because the kinect. In settings there is a way to adjust kinect to its perfect position. Its show a green dot and you tilt the kinect until the dot highlights. The game work perfect after that. I dont know why they did not have you do this during the initial setup.

I've noticed that as well. On xbox.com it only shows their status as "Playing Xbox One", and doesn't show the game they are playing in the activity feed...maybe it's just not working yet since they changed the way the achievement pictures are...I'm guessing they need to make it compatible with a new layout first.

oh man this thing is sweet!!! The way packaging is amazing.Got my day one edition updating now, got some t shirts, beanies and smart phone gloves at best buy.

RYSE, Dead Rising 3 and more importantly Killer Instinct incoming!! The Dpad is something else.

it looks very impressive, nice lines, chunky but clean and modern.
