Not so plentiful in the UK, particularly London and if there is stock, there's horrendous price gouging.
£700+ for a bundle from Game, £530 for a non day one edition from CEX.

They are nothing alike. I love Forza and GT but mostly for the visuals I don't find them nearly as fun as stuff like PGR, or Burnout.
Popped in DR3 and so far not that impressed. It's crazy dark and we are already getting some big FPS drops. I'm not even really doing anything. Does it improve?
Voice controls work way better than some of the quick looks yesterday. UI feels pretty cluttered though

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the UI either, just from what I've seen.
But, the good thing is over the life span of the One, the UI will see a lot of changes. Blades anyone?

What I posted in the other thread:
Xbox One does not do Bitstreaming so you cannot get the actual audio codec on the receiver (just the lame PCM being forced for everything). Plus, the Xbox One has stutter at the beginning of playing a movie and at the beginning of skipping to the next chapter that sometimes cleans up and sometimes continues to stutter throughout.
I left the movie I have running and the stutter seems to clean up eventually, but if you hit next chapter it definitely stutters. What the hell.

How do you browse menus with your hands? It's only letting me use controller
Soo had a scare setting it up. Turned it on light went on then off right away. Did this a few times and it wouldn't turn on. Eventually after waiting 5 minutes it worked. 
. Sisnt think about it then, but its cold up here and it was pretty cold to touch when I set it up, so I'm guessing it has auto shut off for too hot or too cold. Ha

Might seem simple but check to see if your power brick cables are fully pushed in and stuff. Just in case.

Yeah, someone posted a few screens in the OT and I was shocked by how dark it was. Seems upping the gamma helps, but I imagine that would make any visuals flaws a lot more noticeable.
Surprised about the frame-rate drops. Did it download the patch?

Was just about to ask the same thing. Mine is out for delivery. All MS had to do was have Live withstand launch and they'd win launch day easily. Already have the better games overall.. now if Live holds up, the launch day is theirs.

Are there any solutions out there for the small number(I hope) of disk drive issues?? Picked my Day One edition up first thing this morning and everything went wonderfully smooth until I tried to throw in Battlefield...
Mine did not make the noises that some of the videos I have seen made but an error message popped up none the less - Please insert an XBox One or Blu Ray disk in the drive. Originally hoped it was just Battlefield, so I tried a movie - same message.
Called Gamestop and they are sold out so they have nothing for me to swap out with. The guy said they might get more stock later today so I am a little hopeful...
The real bummer is that I absolutely love this thing so far...everything has worked flawlessly up to this point...just bummed now since I have Ryse and Dead Rising being delivered later today via Amazon and now they will just have to sit and wait until I get a replacement. Time to go play KI and keep my fingers crossed that I can get a replacement soon!!!

Mine has arrived at the same time as the extra controller.
Who knew, RVA rolled so deep. Had a friend waiting in line last night at BB in Shortpump. Said the line was 40 deep, and they only had 20 non preorders. Good luck finding one.
I'm not sure how you got that impression from this article... all he says is he prefers the DoF when you leave the garage on the PS4 to the xb1 technique and the hills in the background are more detailed on ps4. on the other hand he prefers the ambient occlusion technique used on xb1

Probably not. Forza is a pretty hardcore sim mixed with car custimization.
