Is there a way for the xbox to turn on the tv too when you say "Xbox on?"

It's in the Settings.

You can check boxes to make the XBOX ONE control the functionality for your receiver, cable/satellite box and television so when you turn your XBOX on and off, it will do it for everything.

Just make sure you have run the intial set up for each of those devices. (it should have taken you through those steps at the start)

Also how do you put. It in stand by mode? When I say xbox turn off it turns off the whole system and I can't turn it back on with voice

Netflix doesn't have support to use actual names for shows though... you have to use the prompts that show up

Got DR3 digitally - you can start playing at around 43% but only about 20 minutes in, you encounter an invisible wall with the notification that the game needs to install more. :-/

Just a question, that hopefully someone can answer:

I don't have a cable box. I have an HTPC with Windows Media Center. I am able to watch TV by plugging in the HDMI cable for my HTPC into Xbox One and launching Windows Media Center. However, I cannot get the One Guide to change channels or use Kinect to control TV functions (pause, rewind, fast forward, etc.).

I've connected an IR blaster cable from my Xbox One to a USB-UIRT device on my PC. I can add cable box codes manually in the Xbox One settings. Is there a code that I can enter to get Kinect to function with Windows Media Center?

I finally am able to control my HTPC with Xbox One. It took me a while to figure it out, so hopefully this will help someone in the future.

You'll need an IR blaster receiver to connect to your PC, and an IR blaster cable to connect from the Xbox One to the receiver.

In the TV setup, type in Microsoft when it asks for the brand of cable box you're using.

It'll send a test command to power off your HTPC. My HTPC reacted by logging me out.

That's all there is to it.

Now I'm able to use the One Guide and Kinect voice commands to change channels in Windows Media Center.

Most of them are going for a little over 600 dollars on ebay. I honestly haven't seen any that are actually selling for more than $750 (except for the white ones).

$100 dollars profit when you have to account for tax and any ebay fees that you might have is not a very good profit.

Similarly, seems like PS4s are only going for around $100 dollars over retail price. This is definitely not 2005. The economy in the United States is a bit different now. However, we'll probably have to wait black friday to see if the prices jump.

That's quite a big difference from the UK to US then. I'm checking out the UK and most are selling for £550-650 which is roughly $900-1000 in conversion.
