It's an EA sports game. There's not going to be an advantage for anyone on either system. Every other game of theirs that I've seen is like 10gb when everything else is 30 minimum on PS4.
Well except for exclusive content.

Also, FIFA only have the Ultimate Team Legends as exclusive on Xbone currently. And seeing that the selection of legends is eater shallow, it won't factor into my purchase. In the end, I don't care which platform I get FIFA for but I don't think I'll get it for free with my pre-order.
Oh god yeah, Madden is just terrible.
My friend picked it up on PS4, it's 1080p but it doesn't look like it has any AA and has texture pop-in and bad framerate. It will of course be the same on XOne too.
Both are 1080p native confirmed and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't notice the difference on either platform.
I finally popped into GAME and put money down for the play and charge kit and the 4 games I will be getting at launch: Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3. I can't believe that in 5 days I will ushering in a new generation and largely waving goodbye to my 360 after 8 years.

I didn't knew Third party titles had their own Day 1 editions. Do they have the different covers and build in pre-order bonuses?
Means less mp lag, live gaming updates, persistent world, asynchronous multiplayer, more variety of rankings, bots and Ai npcs in multiplayer, and more that I couldn't think of the gun.
This is also all computation off load if you think about it, there's no need of your console to happen.

I'm pre-ordering a EU Xbone through a Danish online retailer who still don't know where in Europe they're importing from or which Xbone edition they'll get. I have a feeling it'll be the standard edition.

Kinect 2 is really the media remote now, just to be clear it does cancel out sound coming from your setup and looks for people specifically commanding it so voice commands will now work when watching video or listening to music.
So it doesn't matter if I get a Xbox One Day One edition or a normal standard edition?
It isn't supposed to but damn I don't know, all I know for sure is that day one editions should have it.
However like the standard edition posted a page ago on Gamestop.co.uk it looks like standard editions on launch day get it too.

If Kinnect is as conversational as they claim, you shouldn't need a remote. But I haven't heard of any remote accessories. Also no Keyboard neither =/.
Can you speak to google search using IE? Can you say words or letters and have them typed in text boxes? If so, that's better than an onscreen or gamepad keyboard.

I've heard two things about mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One.
The first thing is that it's up to the developer if they want to add support for it.

I love eneloops. It's the main reason why I prefer double AAs instead of a built in battery for controllers. I just hope the guide button doesn't start flashing when the charge is half way through. That always bugged me; it made me have to switch sooner than I would like.

The Xbox is definitely going to have to be on if you want to use the pass-through, however this really shouldn't be a problem because getting it out of standby and to TV(or whatever else you have hooked up) only takes two voice commands.
Apparently the new light on the controller has been built to help stop this annoyance(they directly mentioned it), so let's hope that it will work better now.

at first I thought xbone will be a strictly forza machine for me this time, but I guess I liked what I saw in the rest of the games too

If I understood correctly, it should be plenty easy for Ms to support any device even without partnerships (as long it's easy to acquire guide info, which I guess It is).
These will work with any battery charger, right? I've got an energizer one.
It's good to hear that they've addressed it in some capacity. I hope battery notification on the controller is gone other than to tell us there is absolutely no charge.

I hope I am right with the charger, should work though but they also always recommend official ones. On mine I can set the max mAh so maybe check this also.
Yeah but they don't last as long (overall life). I think they only hold one third of the charges compared to the normal ones.

Nope but like derFeef says they have 1/3 the overall lifespan which is still pretty long.
Also curious about this myself, don't want to do another pre-order and wind up getting charged from 3 different places (Shopto - guaranteed before christmas, Amazon - No idea, won't tell me when and now this one).

So does anyone know how challenges will be tracked? Will there be an achievement like list alongside your achievements and will they track that alongside your gamerscore?

You shouldn't need to do this, you can change regions on the fly.
Change your console to another region(which gives you access to their market but also changes the consoles language to the countries official language, after launch they will add the ability to switch languages and regions independently.) and download the game from their marketplace and switch your region back to default.
