Honestly, I was fine with waiting. It wasn't until this thread came along that it made my hype RYSE. I haven't been so excited for something in awhile, and man am I excited. These next few days are going to feel like forever.

I am super pumped for my Xbox One, got it paid off, with Dead Rising 3 and thinking of grabbing NFS Rivals as well thanks to the great opinions I've been hearing from the PS4 launch.

Repetitive, easy.
And it's definately not easy, at least in the arena thing. I never managed to finish the colliseum map - especially when those flaming sword guys came out. They had magic dodging skills or something, hehe.
Ok, ridiculous question time. I'm thinking to get a new TV with a really thin silver bezel. Looks great, but when you add in the wiiU sensor bar, PS camera and kinect, the entire aesthetic will just get messed up. So is it crazy to think that my current thick black bezel might be a good thing, to at least partly hide these monstrosities? I can't put them lower than the TV, my coffee table gets in the way
Also, does kinect have to be square on? I could save some height by having it alongside the Ps camera, but it don't know how it'll respond to being off centre

They said the same thing about Knack. I am enjoying that game quite a bit. I expect to do the same with Ryse.
Well, in that gif, notice how the enemies turn blue? That's a "QTE prompt" (ie - press the blue button).
I had some fun when I played it but it seems very simplistic.

Okay, I have a question for you guys. I'm rearranging my setup but I have no where to put the Xbox One's power brick. I currently have 3. One for my Wii U, one for my GCN, and one for my Xbox 360. I heard I have to elevate it off my carpet due to static electricity.

tier 2 europe here, and sony doesnt launch a week after xbone, but like 13 december. at least thats when im receiving my preorder. still miles better than microsoft on this subject. had i left it to microsoft to receive my xbone in my country, im pretty sure they will bring it here around titanfall times, if not even laterz
still, all good, I think the main bunch of games I want to feel like I started the next gen, i will receive them in 5 days!

I can't see a power brick is being affected by static. It's just a power supply and double insulated at that. I think you're not supposed to block the vents with carpet - I'm not sure if the xbone brick is vented. If you're worried about it, just cut out a thick piece of cardboard, put it on the carpet and sit the brick on that.
A question guys.. Got my pre-order from Amazon UK (day one edition) to Belgium. Since Belgium is a TIER 2 country, everybody says I have to buy a prepaid card from Amazon to be able to buy KI3 digitally.

You might be best to make a fake UK account then assign credit to that.

Migration works for every country now if I'm not mistaken. I'm in Tier 3, so probably that's what I will do.

Is it all that different from the QTEs in Batman or GOW? I enjoyed the combat in both of those even though they're very different and they both had those QTE moments in some shape or form.
If that's the worst part about it then I'm good with that.

When I saw Xbox One's user interface I got really excited for the Xbox One over the PS4 that I just bought. And the promise of Microsoft's OS software abilities in a OS feature laden race this upcoming generation. But that excitement quickly dies down when you see what else they're doing with actual games. And while the PS4 OS isn't as flashy, it is functional and fast with lots of new cool abilities as well.
I want a good reason to get an Xbox One. Just like I wanted a good reason for an Xbox 360. But I ended up being fully satisfied by PS3 and a high end PC. At the loss of MS awesome Xbox Live service of course, but I feel that Sony is ever closing that network gap every month and we will soon reach a point of network parity for the important aspects of online gaming.
Here we are again, Titanfall is also on PC and inFAMOUS: Second Son and Uncharted 4 is only on PS4. Halo 1-5 remastered would do it perhaps but then again Destiny is the new Halo in a way. I'm at a loss as to why I would buy an Xbox One with a PS4 and GTX 780 Ti in tow.
For me it comes down to how Microsoft mostly pursues timed exclusives and DLC by opening the wallet whereas PlayStation really puts significant effort behind 1st party development and genuine system exclusives. At least that's my take away from the last generation. And I see no indication that it's going to change.
Unless Microsoft brings me things like the Last of Us 2, I don't see an Xbox One in my living room. I'll just play Titanfall 2 on my PS4. And I'm lucky enough to have a kick ass PC to play Titanfall 1.

After playing the full version of Forza 5 yesterday at the Microsoft Store and seeing the improvements in Bernese Alps and playing through Prague and Bathurst, I'm going to start this generation with the XBOX ONE. Just sold my PS4 that I picked up on Friday, will buy the PS4 when the new infamous comes out. Big problem is that I didn't reserve the XBOX, what's my best bet to purchase one on the release day?

Sweet. I think it's clever that they use the trigger rumbles without the game actually using the triggers. 4-way rumble.
It will be interesting too see what other Japanese games MS make or developers they partner with for the XBO.
Yeah, I think I was confused because Forza was the only game that had them implemented in earlier demos.
