If you look in device manager you see there is an unknown USB device labeled "Controller" but there are no drivers available for it, and it doesn't show up under Windows gamepads.
Wouldn't surprise me to see someone create unofficial drivers for it before MS puts out the official ones next year. I would love to use this controller on the PC. It's so comfy.

I do have the 360 drivers installed. But it didn't even recognize it, maybe my PC is just shit.
Someone with a gaming rig should try it.
Na they said there are no drivers ready... but that it just does nothing is kinda weird.

By a long shot. That packing of the PS4 is pretty bad. There is nothing protecting the unit in it's box at all. The Xbox One packaging is built to withstand some punishment. Everything is packed very well and with plenty of cardboard to protect all the components.

The guys at Gamestop where funny. They actually had an Xbox One event today, guys where using Green uniforms and talking to people about the Xbox One.
But here's the thing, the Xbox One is sold out. So they are basically selling nothing, It's mostly they being:

I'm so torn up on this. I much prefer the Xbone launch lineup to PS4 but prefer PS4 in a general sense. I very much want to play DR3 and Zoo Tycoon (compared to PS4 where I bought games but mainly just play Warframe..) but not sure if it's worth it.. Especially before knowing what the exclusives picture will be like further down the road.

Well, I do appreciate Giant Bomb's opinion actually. What I like about the GB guys is that theres always a balance. They're good about keeping things from going over the top on the hype meter.

Xbox launch lineups always seem the best to me. I LOVED Munch's Oddysee, there was and is nothing else like it. Jet Set Radio Future was a launch game here in Australia too which makes it even better. Then there was Halo, Amped, PGR 3, DOA 3... Pretty insane. The Xbox One lineup to me looks like the best since the original Xbox.
For use with a USB cable, sure. But I imagine they're holding off until they have some hands free to make a new wireless receiver. I doubt the old one would just work with their new protocols.

We should start a support group. Gamers abused by their preferred console. I know the Xbone is bad for me, kinect, lower resolution, cost more. But I know deep down they really love me and don't mean to hurt me.

They are making it work with every single game that worked with the X360 controller, I would call that a good reason.
I feel you. That is why I always own both. But the first one I buy is the one that has the most I want right away. After bouncing around and weighing them back and forth, it is going to be Xbox One first for me. It just has more games, plus a by far slicker UI and more features in general.

I am happy that we are getting another Battlefront. This is one of the games I am so excited about. So many memories of the previous iterations.
