So my Updated Day One list... (due to current Hype and reviews).

1. Killer Instinct
2. DR3
3. Ryse
4. Powerstar Golf.

Next month
2k14
Crimson Dragon(Downgraded due to awful reception.... Will wait for gaf review.)

Looks like that's it unless something earth shattering happens when Ryse is reviewed. The new videos have fucking sold me on it.

Has anyone's Amazon order shipped or changed in status? I'm impatiently waiting for mine to change.

Your card will probably be charged before any change to the status happens. Last week with the PS4, I was charged early Wendesday morning, and the status didn't change for a few hours.

Am I psychotic for checking my Amazon Xbone preorder every hour knowing that want ship it until a least Wednesday?

You're perfectly normal. I do the same thing even though I called BB and they said my order will be send on Thursday (because of the next day air delivery) and yet, I still check order status every few hours :D

Any updates to using an external Hard Drive for the Xbox One? These Next Gen games are huge and that 500gb HDD will not cut it. On my PS4 I have 4 retail games, DC Universe and 2 of the free PS+ games and I am already half full. I plan to have more games on my Xbox One and just curious if there has been any updates to using an external hard drive.

Mine hasn't moved at all, which is making me a bit antsy. I probably pre-ordered faster than anyone during E3. I will stand in line if I have to if my system isn't coming to me launch day, or close enough to it.

From the details that have been thrown around it should make in some time early next year.. If I could venture a guess I would say the Spring Update.

So I have Madden pre-ordered, and ready for in-store pick-up tomorrow along with Battlefield 4. I'm now going to exchange it for Ryse: Son of Rome. Everything I've read and seen in regards to Madden has been a tremendous letdown. But its been quite the opposite for Ryse. As each day passes and the more I see for it, Ryse is looking to be one of THEEEE must own titles at launch.

I hope it's sooner rather than later... I picked up a USB 3.0 1TB external drive from Best Buy a few months back for $60 with expandable storage for the Xbox One in mind. When Major Nelson said it wouldn't be available at launch, I was a little bummed. So hopefully, it comes soon.

Probably super old, but for Aussies Big W seems to be selling X1 games at super discount rates. My local one (Mt Ommaney in Brissie) is selling all the big ones for $68. This was after asking at EB and JB HIFI who were charging $100+. The Big W guy did say he didn't expect them till the weekend though.

Torn between grabbing one Day 1 (if they can even be found on shelves), and waiting to see what unpleasant surprises may await early adoption.

Lol this is great. Terry crews for XboxGAF spokesman was a brilliant idea.

Hey, I came to think of something else!

When I say "Xbox On", it'll turn on the Xbox One and TV but will it also turn on the Receiver and chose the right source?

If not, it would be rather pointless.

Apparently yes... Just not sure how it works if you have hdmi splitters or other stuff in the way...

So the Xbox one can support 8 players at one time!? They need to make a 8 player Mario Party type game fast, really surprised there isn't one at launch.

Yeah BigW doing all launch games for $68. Wonder if they'll have stock.

Good Guys are doing the Xbox One for 567!!!!! That's only $18 more than PS4. Fucking phenomenal.

I think it's 6 people can be logged into a Xbox One at the same time and you can have like 16 or so smartglass devices hooked up at a time.

I imagine some indie board games where the TV is the board and you use your phone or tablet as your cards to play.

How do I do that?

Onkyo TX-NR609.

Do my receiver need to be able to turn on automatically when I turn on my tv now, to also work with the Kinect?

You need to enable HDMI control in your receiver.
Then depending on your Tv maker you also need to enable HDMI CEC, aynet+, Viera control etc. every manufacturer has a different name for it.

My Xbox One will go directly into the receiver.

But now I'm wondering if my receiver can turn on by itself after those guys mentioned it earlier in this thread.

I think Kinect IR blaster takes care of the turning it on if you receiver does not support the CEC protocol... The problem with hdmi splitters is that the xbone would have to turn each device on, change their inputs accordingly (all of which it can do), and also set up the splitter to the right channel...

My original question, does xbox one, automatically switch tv in and out of game mode, as you snap between tv, and gaming ?

Someone responded that your tv will display what that tv's input it set at, and thats precisely my question. If Xbone allows your tv, and games, acting as a seamless transition, this means that you have to keep game mode on all the time, or off all the time. For example, I'm watching nfl, snap dash, go to play ryse, If game mode is off, my game is laggy as heck from input lag, if game mode is off, my tv picture looks alot worse. Can you please answer Albert, curious if you guys have thought of this ?

Shit i forgot about that...i always kept my 360 in pc mode on my Samsung plasma... don't want to be watching directv on that input.

PAULINK

I microwave steaks.
He is not. The controller is a huge step back compared to the 360.

I dunno if I would say that. It takes some adjusting definitely, but when I played some games with it at the microsoft store, felt right at home.

And at least it didn't break like my ps4 controller ;_;

Wait what?

This is a joke right?

Better analog sticks, better dpad, better triggers, better face buttons, every controller is wired and wireless, better battery form factor, rumble triggers, snap design without screw holes, IR receivers, standby mode to increase battery life, ability to sync wirelessly and higher quality audio support. How exactly is that worse?

Hey guys does Xbox One have bluetooth 2.1?

What? It's much better than the 360 controller. Feels the same but better analogs, face buttons and triggers, dpad. It's not smaller at all, same size.

Disagree especially on the analog sticks. I have made my point clear about this back at GC. Get the fuck out with these loose DS3 stick shit. Ugh just thinking about it makes me sad again.
