So fired up my XSX and thought let's continue with Psychonauts 2, nope, forget about it. It won't launch. I get this message :

Something went wrong. Give it another try, if this happens again visit Xbox.com and enter the following code : 0x87e107e2

I've did a power cycle already, and I'm not about to factory reset my XSX. Anyone else having issues?

Wait ....check your WiFi first, are you playing Psychonauts 2 on gamepass ?
Also do you play from external HD ?
go to setting check your memory status of the drive/s.
GL !!

Maybe it will work?

Hi, Spade96! thank you for reaching out.
My name is AJ, I'm an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your console.

Would you mind giving this a try?

• Press and hold your console's power button, until it shuts down.
• Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes (If you have the original Xbox One, unplug the power supply from both the Xbox and the outlet).
• Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

If that doesn't work, please answer the following questions:

• May I ask which Xbox model you are using?
• Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?
• Could you tell me exactly what happens when you try to launch other games/apps?
• Were you getting 0x87e107e2 even before doing the factory reset?

Thank you! I'll be looking forward to your reply.
Best regards.

How do you have your Xbox hooked up? WiFi or Ethernet?

I don't know if it will help, but I had a very weird similar issue like a year ago playing BC games on mine with Ethernet plugged in. I unplugged, went on wifi, and it worked. Ethernet worked fine after that.

It may not be the solution for your issue but it's worth a shot at least?

Hero!

I unplugged the ethernet cable, now via WiFi and I can continue my game, even still from quick resume. Let's goooooo! I'll try with cable in a bit again.

Yay! Glad that fixed it! Def give the Ethernet cable a go again later. For whatever reason kicking mine over to wifi and then back fixed my issue completely last year.

It's odd because a few folks on Reddit from the UK had the issue too. I told them your advice! Glad I can continue with this awesome ass game. 💪🏻
