Ok, thanks. I asked because i went to the water purification center with Elma in the party after seeing a yellow icon, but nothing happened :\
I'll try with her out of the party now. Another thing: are they missable? If i get another yellow message, can i still do the one i found before?
The big spread sheet linked to in the first post has information about all heart to hearts in the "allies" category, including location and special requirements (like specific pets).
How?
H.B. is the closest we will get to OG Xenoblade quotable stuff in battle.
Do you where exactly the mission is? I don't see on my gamepad. You're probably just looking at the wrong place. The mission should be there as soon as you get Murderess, you just won't be actually able to play it without the prerequisites.
Some of them require a specific petHow does Heart to heart conversation work?
I tried Elma at afternoon at commercial distribution place. She's not there (Tried her with and without party)
Then tried Lin heart to heart conversation, she doesn't show up either at her hangar.
What am I missing exactly?
Do I have to have solo?
I don't remember the name but it says "The Dream" Affinity Quest but I definitely just did recently (like 30 minutes ago) which is Irina Affinity Quest to unlock her.Do you where exactly the mission is? I don't see on my gamepad.
At what point does this game pick up? I LOVED the wii game, basically right away I enjoyed it. Now I'm not very far into this one, but good lord is it dragging. Should I expect this for the whole game or is there a point if I keep truckin through it where it changes?

Spoilers for the Miracle Water sidequest.
Is there anyway to save the girl that's poisoning the reservoir? I asked her what was in the bottle and she just drank it and dropped dead. Guess I should have chose the other option
Wait, there are pets? How do you get them?

You should definitely use Lin, she´s required for many quests so in the end you´ll be switching here on/off your team a lot...Loving this game so far. I'm only level 15 so far, but I've had a blast. I do feel like I have to learn some stuff, still. I have a hard time picking what Arts & Skills to upgrade. I kinda wish there was an auto-upgrade button for allies as I don't always know what to pick for the rest of my crew members. And it takes forever.
Someone also told me having Lin in your party is important because she's required for a lot of missions. Same goes to Elma. But I prefer having Doug in my party instead of Lin. And I'm pretty sure they're both the same class, so it doesn't feel right to have Lin alongside him. My current party is my character (Samurai Gunner), Elma, Doug and Irina.
Also, does the color of the hexagonals mean anything on the world map? Red = high level enemies? And should I focus on revenue or mining probes this early in the game? And then focus iridium on AMs?
So many questions X_X

Really? I found them relatively easy to find. Then again I'm doing all the sidequests without really advancing the story. So I got my mechanical up really quickly.
I known there was one probe site hidden in a small cave in the side of a cliff that probably took me a good 45 minutes to find but other than that can't really think of any that are hard to reach. Especially the sides.
You can also increase your survey rate by opening big-time treasures when the segment indicates a treasure is located there.

You get them back.If I change a probe, will it give the old one back to me or is it gone?

Yeah, I'm fully aware of the name. I think I know the problem but I haven't tried it yet. I don't have yet Irina on my current team. I guess that's why the mission isn't showing up?I don't remember the name but it says "The Dream" Affinity Quest but I definitely just did recently (like 30 minutes ago) which is Irina Affinity Quest to unlock her.

I believe if you detain her when given the option she'll survive, but I picked the other option and she died.

Hold r and press L to cycle through the tasks
It requires Yardley's Scheme being completed (found in the Industrial district).
Arts are tied to the weapons you use and the initial class (Drifter) give you Assault Rifle and Knife Arts but if you move, for example, to the Commando class you don't keep those arts since the Commando uses Dual Guns and Dual Swords.I used to have all those skills and now i am back to 3 since i changed skill set. I want to do more damage, tho i was doing alright with that basic one. That monster was fun to fight. Also.. running and jumping in this game feels amazing! jumping really high places is pretty badass too!
If you have some trouble finding some missing piece of gear of a set you can buy them in Armory Alley inside the city.anyways.. you can see the suit i am wearing in that last screen... i am still missing that darn left sleeve. So i figured i have to fight different monsters to get a drop on some different items. Or should i keep fighting the crabs? I might need a guide to find drops for this kind of stuff.
Anyways.. some questions.
Where the heck do i find that left armor sleeve. I got most of the set from the crabs around the beach.
You level up based on the path you have chosen? so changing it resets the level for that? i think i keep an overall level, but i don't have as many skills as i unlocked with the default one. Making some of the battles harder now instead than easier.
The button prompts that you get is for doing chain combos perfectly right? giving you a chance to get a bonus?i just try to listen to what they are talking about and make sure i am nailing those to stagger and do more damage.
Hmm... Some people saying the game is a drag at the start... but seriously.. i am just fighting monsters. I have not made it to the ship yet. Its awesome. So many different monsters to check, and being able to break parts of them to get extra items is really nice. Reminds me a lot of MH.
Be sure to do normal quests as much as you can, they will usually take you to zones of your level so just kill monsters on your way over there.finished chapter 7
is it me, or Grinding takes so much time >.> ? my current level is 27 and i put 29 hours in the whole game right now.
any good areas/monsters that can give me great amount of exp at my current level ?
and when can i get my skell to fly ?
Wait, H.B. was one of the DLC chars in the japanese version?
I think that explains a lot.

Oh, and don't forget to level up your Arts to do more damage or reduce the cooldown period =3

1. Most of the equipement can be bought at the shop unless you're trying to complete a quest ?
2. You've a base level and a job level.
Job level will reset when you change class because you will get new skills.
3. If you're talking about the B button it allows you to give order to your teamates if you success. Otherwise when you respond to their other by clicking an highlenten button it will "boost your damage and heal you sometime".
4. Happy to know that you're enjoying the game and that some stuff remind you of MH

Yup with those characters too
You get them back.
You will get it back.

Alright. I'll share some screens from my game time. But i do have another question. I save screens..where does it save them to? i checked my sd card after playing and they are not there. I have smash screens in there. Do i have to set up miiverse to save the screens there? I have access to my screens through miiverse.. and they are super small.
There are still a couple of lines like that - Frye has one or two memorable ones, for example; as well as L's idioms. Yelv's lines stick out for the wrong reason - he sort of reminds me of Shadow the Hedgehog.
I chose to arrest her, but she still killed herself.
If you hit the home button you can go to the browser and use an image service like imgur to upload your pictures. They will be updated at full size and then you can grab them off your computer.
Oh... so thats what the b prompt is. Usually i hear her or me say something about stagger... and use fire.. or heal and then it helps out to get a buff or something. I need to read some more on the skills to make sure i am using properly. Once i learned when to stagger to use that shot ability i was doing some good damage.
I like the breaking parts. its fun. i feel i am not just focusing on killing the monster. but more on making sure i am a bit more tactical to make sure i get the most of the monster. Having 5 monster pile up tho is crazy haha 6 level 2 bison looking monsters killed me because i had no healing skill after i switched to commando. Took down like 4 of them tho... cheeky bisons! i was tearing off their scalp looking heads haha.

Thanks for the tip..been skipping on these
Finally got House of cards quest showing up, and I'm in postgame, lol.
