I think 99% of Ys VI fans would beg to differ.

The lack of a warp feature is one of the most common fan complaints with the game, and is a major factor that's kept a lot of people from replaying Ys VI, and from ranking the game as highly as it might otherwise rank on their list of favorite Ys titles.
I'm assuming you haven't played the game? Because I'd be shocked if you had and still didn't think warping was a great addition. It's the equivalent of reducing encounter rates in an old-school RPG or something -- it's a convenience that the original was lacking, which removes nothing from the game's challenge (possibly even adding to it, since you won't be fighting as many enemies and thus won't be leveling up as often) while saving on tedious backtracking.
Plus, if you really, really want to remove warping from the game, you can with a quick edit of one of the game's .ini files, as Sara noted.
...Also, unrelated, but I've double-checked the options in Akiba's Trip PC, and wanted to clarify exactly what's available in the current build:
- There are actually three resolutions selectable: 1920x1080, 1280x720 and 960x540.
- VSync and anti-aliasing options are available.
- There are sliders to limit or increase the number of NPCs you want on the street with you.
- There is a slider for mouse sensitivity.
- There are tons of control re-binding options, including support for keyboard, gamepad and, to a limited extent, mouse (though you're definitely going to want to play this via gamepad!).
As I said, options are a bit limited, but the game itself performs great within these options, and as with all our console and handheld versions, it sports dual voice AND dual text, so you can play with any combination of English or Japanese voices and text that you wish.
