You get 30 million but you can never go back to your home country or to its allies with extradition treaties

So, asking for a friend. What if you could get away with taking 30 million from your place of employment, but then you could never return home. Would you do it?

Well I am from Russia originally and now over in the USA and a dual citizen. I been in USA for 20+ years and have no desire to go back so yeah... I'll take it lol.

No. Stealing is illegal.

With 30 millions... Ofc I will. And bting all my friends with me in a place where we will never work a minute of our lives.

I guess I'll have to take my GF too...

I'm not living in my home country, from UK but live in US, but my family is still there. With $30 million I could probably convince them to move here. I would be sad about not being able to go back to the UK, but it's the people that count and with all my family here this would become home.
Then I would take another $30 million to leave this new home and move to Australia, rinse and repeat until I can afford my own private island or run out of English speaking countries.

No amount of money could part me from this royal throne of kings, this scepter'd isle, this blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

I'm from Mexico but I've been living abroad more than a decade. I live in Europe now and have no plans to move back.

Do you need my account to send me my 30 millions? :)

Only other countries I'd have a desire to live in would be Japan or Canada, and both of them have extradition treaties with the US.

For myself, I already lived in china for nine years. With 30 million I'd be fine never coming back. Other great places bahrain, Tunisia, Mongolia, and Vietnam. (Seriously, Tunisian women might be worth it alone)

Which country has that cute twerking PM again??

I'd go there :P

Hell, for 30 mill you could probably get a pretty decent yacht and just be a "citizen of the world" and live off the interest of the remainder of the sum.

And three weeks later....

Only if I gave away enough money for my family and close friends to come along. Tough to leave Australia for good but the company it holds would be harder to leave behind. Same goes for our kids, there's communities, sports, friends, families etc. That's a lot to leave behind forever and never return.

Yep. I'd buy a house in some cozy corner of Japan, but spend most months traveling the world.

I'm an introvert the answer is easy. With that much money, I'd pay for my family and friends to visit me!! :goog_lol::LOL:

Especially with the internet and online shopping, I rarely leave home already!!

No, almost every country I'd want to live in has extradition to the US.

Look at the countries that don't have it.

Russia? No thanks. China? Fat chance. Mauritania? Don't they have slavery still? Saudi Arabia? Hell No. I would never even visit there.

You skipped over Andorra and Taiwan.

I'm single and in my 20s. Yup sign me up. Not sure what country I'd go to for my early retirement from corporate America, but somewhere with nice weather.

I'd do it for significantly less.

Not being able to go to countries that extradite to America, pretty much eliminates anything that isn't China, Russia or some backwater you want nothing to do with.
