I have had the good sense to skip T3 and T:S, so that's basically true for me already.

OTOH, T2 hasn't aged terribly, but it has aged some. Conventional action moves of the same era hold up better.

Yeah I don't really agree. I've watched it several times over the last couple of years and have never liked it any less. What action movies are you saying hold up better?

I disagree that T2 has aged; it has only aged in the sense that we no longer live in the era in which it is set. It's okay that John connor talks like a kid from the early 90's because he WAS a kid in the early 90's.

Edit: And as a 20 year old, I wasn't nearly old enough to watch the movie when it first came out. I actually first saw it a few years ago, and I still thought that it was the best action movie I'd seen then.

Die Hard 1 and 3

Even Aliens holds up better.

so much hatred for the 3rd and 4th. they were not even close to the awesomeness of the first two but they were still good movies.

"I KNOW NOW WHY YOU CRY BUT IT IS SOMETHING I CAN NEVER DO"

I love Terminator 1 and Terminator 2: Robodaddy a lot. But man that line is cheesy as hell. If it was anybody but Arnold it would be laughed at.

Incredibly Naive
This series has been dead a long time, that was proven with T3, which came out with a quick start then dropped like a rock. It is no longer relevant, hell it wasn't even relevant for the sherminator in American pie 11 years ago.

My 3 favourite movies from my childhood were T2, Aliens and Predator :lol I loved them all as a kid.

yeah and that's how we all remember them, with our child minds. that's why nothing will EVER BE AWESOME AGAIN.

I recently rewatched terminator 3.

It was alright.

Die Hard 1 seems like it will remain timeless for a long time.

3 I'm enjoying a lot now too. Jeremy Irons and Sam Jackson are awesome additions.

It's painfully obvious that it's not Arnold on the bike, especially when watching on a big screen. Also, if I had one qualm with the film, it's Arnold's "I need a vacation" line at the end. It's so out of character and out of place.
I could be wrong but I think that line was just something Arnold said as a joke and it stayed in. It is out of place, but it doesn't bother me.

Also the "I know why you cry.." line is really cheesy, but I'm not gonna lie to you it gets to me. The thumbs up too.

Agreed on Die Hard 1 and 3, but I think that T2 is right there with them.
