So I was just clicking through some random related videos on YouTube and happened upon this video: Taboos of Science. by the SciShow channel. New to the channel, fairly alright video, some interesting topics etc. At the end of the video, the guy goes through the typical YouTube spiel of 'like and favourite this shit' blah blah and 'write in the comments what other science taboos you'd like us to discuss.'
I impulsively checked out the comments which were fairly typical for the topic of the video; your creationism vs. science and evolution debates that end up going nowhere. I don't know what compelled me to read this particular exchange, but oh my teapot I'm so glad that I did.
Reading it aloud to my friends over Skype was a new challenge. It took me around 30 minutes to complete the saga as I was holding back the tears of laughter, pouring out like a waterfall from my face, with questions of confusion and sheer amazement being spewed by my buddies. The opening line of the initial comment. The 'strong butt muscles'. The 'which came first, the Toilet Paper or the Human Ass?'. The discussion of how a horse can run faster than man, but not the distance due to our 'buttocks being able to provide such endurance', and this theory being in defiance of Occam's Razor.
I'm fully off. I can't comprehend it. I'm now in search of the video mentioned about the endurance of the human ass as it was unjustly withheld from me, so if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
So GAF, what YouTube comments have enlightened you to the extent that they have changed your life? The comments section is renowned for being an absolute cesspit but sometimes there are some golden nuggets in there that once discovered means life will never be the same.
