If this scan is a fake, it's a very clever fake.

Metroid Dread could be worked into a decent sounding title if you added another word to it, I think.

Mario Strikers actually sounds somewhat plausible. We've seen golf, tennis, and now baseball... soccer seems like the most likely Mario sport left.

Battalion Wars could be the new name of the GameCube Wars spinoff. That makes more sense than Advance Wars does, because of both the platform and the gameplay.

Metroid Dread? :lol OMFG.

The scan looked pretty real.

I like it, kind of sounds like an anime movie title.

I think it's pretty good, too. It might be a little unexpected when compared to the last games in the series, but it does sound Nintendo like. It's at least a step up from the bullshit ones we were getting several months ago.

The Twilight Princess

The story of Tasogare no Himegimi, The Twilight Princess, came about when shoujo mangaka Mamahara Ellie decided to make a manga adaptation of the '80's fantasy movie Ladyhawke. Because she was unable to obtain the necessary rights, her story evolved into its current form. The characters are easy to parallel - a knight and a noblewoman that are cursed, a clergyman scheming to drive them apart, a young man who assists the benighted couple. All we're missing is the wolf. However, the motivations driving the characters are often very different, as a read through the script will attest. I'll leave that up to you.

Tasogare no Himegimi is unusual among shoujo manga in that it is not basically a love story. Rather, it quickly establishes that the central characters are in love and concentrates on good ol' fashioned princess saving action. ^_^ It also has elements reminiscent of Japanese console RPGs (which were almost the only kind of console RPGs at the time it was written,) such as magical beings, and epic, long-forgotten battles of good versus evil, which allow the story to work up to a sort of 'save the world' climax. It is still shoujo manga, though, and maintains a personal, human feel throughout, mostly through the character of the Archbishop. His fall from grace is what (in my estimation) makes this story stand out.

Ladyhawke Plot Summary :

Captain Etienne Navarre is a man on whose shoulders lie a cruel curse. Punished for loving each other, Navarre must become a wolf by night whilst his lover, Lady Isabeau, takes the form of a hawk by day. Together, with the thief Philippe Gaston, they must try to overthrow the corrupt Bishop and in doing so break the spell.

Could the plot for the next Zelda use some of those stories ?

DUM DUM DUM stupid speculation are running wild

If you remember, when the first news of Wind Waker's subtitle was announced, it was referred to as "Stick of Wind". Obviously that name did not stick, perhaps this will be changed slightly before release. I hope so anyway. Twilight Princess just doesn't sound right.

See, even if this is fake they're faking it the right way. Because it's a really Japanese-sounding name (tasogare no hime).

Since you rarely see fakers smart enough to come up with names that sound good in Japanese, this seems sorta real. If it's totally faked, whoever did it is smart. Or I'm reading too much into it.

I like zelda no densetsu: tasogare no hime though.

Or "Higure No Hime", or "Yuuyami no Hime" or "Yuumagure no Hime", etc.

...there's like 15 ways to say "Twilight" in Japanese...

Although "tasogare" is certainly the most poetic.

It could turn into "Legend of Zelda: Twilight's Curse" when it comes out here.

Reading that Twilight Princess story makes it sound A LOT like Zelda. Link turns into a wolfe to try and resue Zelda, his love, but Gannon the asshole is trying to drive them apart.

HMMM!

Twillight Princess, well that is certainly a change from the Ocarina of time, majoras mask and wind waker names. (if it's real)

Maybe it's the shiek in the black cloak who is in love with the princess and is cursed? Link will go on an adventure to save the world and lift the curse from zelda and that guy. o_o

I don't want link to turn into a wolf/hawk/whatever for half of the day. That'd be worse than the sailing.

hello?! Shiek is ZELDA.

Time PARADOX.

Yep, pretty sure that'll change for the US release. Just like Wind Waker was commonly translated as Baton of Wind or whatever.

I'm not talking about the Ocarina of time Shiek. Aren't the shiek a warrior clan of some sort that protect the royal family? That guy in the cloak could be one.

I agree that The Twilight Princess story sounds very Zelda like, that it could easily fit. The name will probably change when it comes out in America.

Was OoT the last Zelda to have the same name in Japan and America? Oracles were different. Majora's Mask =/= Mask of Mujula. ZnT wasn't Bork of the Wind or whatever in the beginning (I only heard about the Bork fiasco days after it was announced to be TWW). Pretty sure The Minish Cap might've been different too.

I need an avatar so my posts don't get lost so easily. Stick of Wind for Wind Waker.

Also, Majora's Mask=Mask of Mushura.

It is Zelda no Densetsu: Kaze no Takuto - The Legend of Zelda : Baton of Wind

Takuto = Tact = German for "baton" (which the Japanese also call "Takuto")

Yikes; "Twilight Princess" sounds like a sex toy... :(

Of course now that I think of it, "Link's Awakening" sounds straight out of a Harlequin novel... so maybe that's an improvement?
