According to a EB employee i just talked to, if you preorder the next Zelda, you'll receive a remake of the Wind Waker. This iz unbelievable news!

Whenever i want to hear reliable information, I know these guys are the experts to go to :)

Reggie did talk about a super-premium edition of the next Zelda..nothing says super-premium like a complete remake of a this-generation game thrown in for kicks :lol

Seriously, though, I doubt this is true. This was also EGM's april fools, so..
 
hehe.. I always said it would be funny if nintendo actually made good on the april fool's joke.. I mean the new zelda still uses the wind waker engine.. there would still be a bunch of models they would have to create for TWW, but it still would be pretty funny.

The Eb Employee might have gotten the info out of one of the gaming magazines; my coworker showed it to me because he though it was strange. Sure enough, it has a picture of a wind waker scene vs. a picture of the 'remade' wind waker scene, and said the remake was the pre-order bonus for the latest Zelda game.

Of course, the magazine could of been way off track and making crap up just to sell subscriptions :P I wish I could remember which one, but it was last month sometime.

Don't get me wrong, having the Triforce pieces hidden in a dungeon each would have been ten times better, but having to hunt for each piece kinda made the quest seem...I dunno...more interesting.

The first time I saw one of your posts, I thought you accidently hit 'z' instead of 's' to spell "is". Then I thought maybe your 's' key was broke so you had to replace them with 'z's. Now I know you're retarded.
 
Are you guys forgetting the fact that EB Employee's will say almost ANYTHING to get you to drop money on a pre-order? I went to my local EB and they said the samething that they would offer a remake of Zelda then the maanger came out and told the employee to shut up that it was an April fools joke lol

Yesterday my friend Dan FINALLY bought a Gamecube, and he comes to me and says, "Oh my gosh Garrett, the guy at EB told me that when you buy the new Zelda game you get Wind Waker with new graphics!" He was totaly serious and really excited about it. I just stared at him for a moment, and then said, "Dude, that was EGM's April Fool's joke. EB are retards and you got had."

Who would honestly believe they would remake a this-gen game...THIS GEN?

I agree.

Triforce Hunt = Rather short and easy. Not that bad. Arguably enjoyable.
Figurine Collecting = Annoyingly unintuitive. 3 "perfect" pics in a camera? One figurine per day? Fuck that.

Amusing side note: Through out all of the days leading to April Fools day, my local game crazy had the box for the XBox version of Harold and Kumar Go To White Casle game on the racks of there store.

I didn't mind it all! While people think ya gotta get all 8 pieces in a row thats just not true. Haven't played in awhile but you can get 3 after Fire Mountain, 2 after Earth Dungeon, and the other 3 after Wind Dungeon (or something like that).
