One thing I noticed: there's enhanced weapons and some loot randomization. I noticed this in both the Treehouse stream and... - I want to say the Polygon video? - where the chest underneath the boulder outside the stasis shrine had a Traveler's Bow in it, but each time had a different modifier. Once it was a yellow box and icon that denoted Power +3 for 8 damage instead of 5, and the other time it was a blue-greenish diamond icon and text that said it had enhanced durability.
Never saw what the boarder of the Plateau actually looked like until now:
I think you need the glider since the entire plateau is surrounded by a sheer cliff. However, only the Treehouse folks had the glider I think. The other demos didn't have it and you couldn't obtain it in time.

It's crazy to think that everything we've seen from the demo comes from what essentially amounts to the game's tutorial area.
Is there a good imgur album or something with all the good webms/gifs and stuff?
I'm trying to find the one where the wind blows kindling across a fire and then catches the brush on fire.
looks more like an invincibility after hit thing than a hitbox one
They look like old crumbled city walls, the forest claimed it grounds back
This game HAS to have some form of time-traveling, right?

This is kind of stupid

I'm really starting to get Mario 64 type vibes from this game, or the closest I've felt to vibes like that from any game since.
First thing I thought was the game took place in the far future, after civilization had been devastated. That explains the presence of some technology but also explains why everyone seems to live with minimal technology.
I think that's also why they don't want to show towns yet, because we're going to see signs of much more advanced technology there.
Yes seeing the ruins, the rusty master sword, that the towns are connected to the story, seeing the guardian fight on the field (outside the plateau segment) which is in no way as rusty or as decayed than the others. That make me feels like there is a time travel related mechanic.

Yes, I think the acknowledged removal of towns from the demo for spoiler reasons is a big hint. Educated guess says we'll see towns in ruined states and then travel back to see them in a better state.
They didn't say they removed towns for the demo. They said there will be towns once you get off the plateau the demo is confined to

This has probably been answered, but are those load screens between overworld and the shrines going to be in the final game?

I remember that they said they removed them from the demo. Same with the NPCs.
I don't think it was ever answered by anyone at Nintendo but I would imagine that yes, they will be there at least in the Wii U version.

I wonder what stops you climbing down, could just be lack of stamina perhaps
Feels more like Far Cry to me so far.It looks like Nintendo's Skyrim.
It's a living, breathing world full of character and a stunning level of interactivity, but the thing that gets me is that the gameplay looks like it fits so well within the open world design. This could be special.
One thing I don't like that I keep seeing is the look of hunting. I know it's sort of a weird complaint, but when Link shoots a boar and the arrow cartoonishly hits and then the boar disappears in a puff of smoke, it just doesn't feel right. It doesn't match the stalking vibe, and it feels silly when you're hunting it for its body to have the body disappear. I guess I see hunting as a different feature than combat with enemies, while the game is treating hunting as an extension of combat with a different enemy type.
I think if arrows stuck in prey, that would help. Or at least have the body behave like a chopped down tree, where you need to hit it again with something to "carve" it and retrieve the meat or pelt.
It's not very Zelda, but a more visceral experience I think would help. At least based on what I've seen.

My my... It would seem that we have quite the enigma here. This tower and several just like it have erupted across the land, one after another. Very interesting... It appears that some long-dormant power has awoken quite suddenly. Did anything...odd happen to you while you were on top of that tower?
(I heard a voice)
I suspected as much. And did you happen to recognize the voice at all?
(No.)
I see. Well, then...that is a shame. I assume that you caught full sight of that atrocity swarming around the castle. That is the Calamity Ganon. It brought ruin and corruption upon the kingdom of Hyrule 100 years ago. It appeared suddenly...destroying everything in its path. Leaving countless innocents in its wake.
Over the past century, the kingdom's purest symbol, Hyrule Castle, has been able to contain that evil. But just barely. There it festers, building its strength for the moment it will unleash its blight upon the land once again. It would appear that moment is fast approaching. I must ask you, young one... Do you intend to make your way to the castle?
(I do.)
I thought so.
Here, on this isolated plateau, we are surrounded on all sides by sheer cliffs, with no way off or down. If you were to try and jump, well...no death could be more certain. Or foolish. Of course, if you had a paraglider like me, that would be quite another story!
(Give it to me!)
Har har har! Sure! Why not? But there is no such thing as a free item in this world, you know.
Let's see now.
How about we trade it for a bit of treasure that slumbers nearby? Come. Let me show you something.
Thanks. 😊The entire dialog for that sections goes like this:

I wasted a bunch of my demo time trying to climb down. It actually forces you to fall into a death pit if you make it down far enough. You need the glider item to get off the plateau I believe.
Well I'm 9 minutes from playing

Tony Hawks The Elder Dogma Shadow of Metal Souls Downhill Jam of the Cooking Xenomama Chronicles Gear Solid II Turbo HD Remix & Knuckles
I think I get most of them but can someone please explain to me "and Knuckles?" Is it some kind of lock on thing? Also what about featuring Dante? I wanna know.
