Tell me about it. My wife and I are trying to get pregnant again after our miscarriage that started this year out for us and it scares us as well.

My wife is due in October, and we're in San Francisco. This is fairly scary since we both like to be active outdoors during the spring and summer. Looks we'll be spending more and more time indoors =/

Same boat man. Got a baby coming in September and I live in South Carolina aka mosquito hell.

In Florida and we are due in September as well. We are past the worst stage, which is really the first trimester. I have a lot of hope based on the lack of actual cases contracted in the states. Everything in Florida has been from people who traveled recently and got it there.

Man, that sucks. Sorry to hear about that. While we didn't experience a miscarriage, it took us a good year and a half to get pregnant this time (this will be our 3rd).

I know the swamps of South Carolina well. Born and raised in Sumter (not Sumpter).

I can imagine that would be a downer. My wife has auto-immune stuff going on, so we really don't get to do outdoorsy stuff to often. Add in the pregnancy and we were going to be indoors anyway.

Is it really the first trimester that is the worst when it comes to Zika? We're due in August, so we're well into the second trimester.

Damn just saw this linked on my facebook, was about to make a thread but figured I'd check one of these threads.

Even though I'm not planning to have a kid for a few years, this is scary as fuck. I wish all of the pregnant parents here as much luck as possible.
