Zoo Keeper (NDS) - Gamespot review

"When you look at Zoo Keeper strictly as a DS game and ignore the outside world, it's a great puzzle offering that looks nice and offers play that can be really habit-forming. But when you realize that Zoo Keeper is basically a clone of a game that you can download for free for the PC or for various PDAs, it's slightly tougher to recommend. Still, if you're on the go and you're after a good, strong DS puzzler, Zoo Keeper's definitely worth it."

They make it sound like the game doesn't get harder but it does. Each level has a higher quota. So you have to go longer and longer
It's hard to keep going for a long time because sometimes you get to a point where every turn there's only one right move.

from other post :

Hitofude is easy : which part of the game did you find easy? which of the modes?

Meteos/Hitofude will be what I buy. They vill be awesome. 40 dollars for Zoo Keeper... eh. I'll get it maybe when it's 14.99.

Broke down and bought it today. It is kinda fun, but seriously it is in no way close to Tetris Attack (which it sort of tries to mimic in a way)

Hurry up Nintendo and make another version of Panel de Pon bastards.

you are so right about PDP its not funny. I wouldn't have paid $40 for Zookeeper though.

Checkmate mode . I'm on like level 60 and It hasn't really gotten much harder. isn't super simple but the same few patterns you can use on almost every puzzle.

well , it's only starting to get slightly trick , some of the later levels will drive you nuts

as for challenge mode, it's nigh on impossible pretty quickly.

I only got to line 360 or so on challenge mode, but beat Checkmate mode pretty handily (a few puzzles took 15-20 minutes though). I guess the cool thing about Checkmate mode is that you can input codes from Nintendo's website for more puzzles or create / trade your own.

Damn, I want a puzzle game for my DS, but cripes.. $40 for this.. How much is Mr. Driller? $30, I hope? Well.. actually $10-15 I hope, but that goes without saying.. even though I just said it. Damnit!
