At the Walmart where I work, we actually had kids cough on us (people working) last week.

But I don't see how it's really any worse than the typical behavior. People crowding you, people getting right up into your face asking questions or worse, making stupid jokes about the empty shelves.

You expect teenagers to be dumbasses. They're teenagers. They even know they are being dumbasses, they just think it's funny. It's the adults who are worse, because they their completely oblivious of their bad behavior.

We'll talk again if they still think that shit is funny when the next outbreak is something like the spanish flu that kills young people predominantly.

What the fucking fuck. I'd beat my kid until his brains leaked out of his ear holes if I saw him doing this kind of shit (if I had kids that is). I know everyone is piece of shit until they're about 20 or so (sometimes much longer), but these kids just keep lowering the bar. I just can't even imagine doing something like this.

Actually, the title should be changed to reflect that these are Generation Z fucktards, not the other fucktards.

I feel like I shouldn't be making fun of that generation. Does every generation looks at young people and go "they're stupider than my generation was at that age"? I feel like that's a thing.

This type of "prank" always gets on my nerves. Spitting on food, licking products and now this.

In all other pranks the "victim" has the chance to see you and react. If you throw a cake on a person's face he is probably going to chase you. There's always some kind of risk the pranker takes in order to have his fun. There's always an interaction between the two parties, plus the victim always knows he was pranked at the end. And that's the point of pranks. That's the funny part for anyone watching them. And as much as i hate pranks that inconvenience the victims, i respect that.

These ones though... The victim will probably never know someone spitted on his food. There is no interaction between the two parties and the pranker receives no retaliation from his victim. So what's the point again? Literally doing something mean to someone for the sake of... doing something mean?

And i get how sometimes people who handle food may be angry with a customer and do this shit (i don't agree with it even then) but even then, the customer won't notice it (most of the time it's just gross, not harmful) so in his mind he didn't suffer any consequences. So basically you are the only one who knows you "got" him. So how is that getting him you coward?

But doing it in a scenario where the victim is going to be a random person you never met and never will? I don't get it.

So you show the kids by punishing their parents? I mean, I know everybody likes to blame the parents in situations like this but sometimes the little fuckers just suck and there's nothing the parents can do about it.

No, that's bullshit when the little fuckers just go on sucking and the parents are given a free pass at failing society like this. There has to be some repercussions when you fail at your responsibilities and it directly leads to destruction of someone else's property (this case: the food).

I don't think fines are the first thing I would resort to. The state could threaten to remove the kids because obviously there's not enough parenting going on. Send a case worker to check on them once a week every week for the next year. THAT ought to result in some interesting family dynamics for a while...

I would charge these people with attempted murder, plain and simple. Pieces of shit like them need to learn the hard way.
How is that a murder attempt? If you do something with the intent of upsetting people and there is a miniscule chance it can lead to death (just think about it: What are the chances that the teenagers in question have a deadly disease transmittable by saliva, what are the chances of then the customer in question contracting that sickness and finally of that custimer dying?). I do not think it is reasonable to judge that as a murder attempt.

You're just insinuating the parents are to blame in all of these situations and that's probably not the case. It would be like blaming a serial killers parents. Just cause a person sucks doesn't mean their parents did.

I agree that the parents aren't always to blame. In every case. But Frito, this sort of thing is grasping at fringe cases just like on other highly political topics. Are you suggesting that because parents can't possibly be held responsible for the actions of their 17-year-old in a murder case, then parents can't be held responsible when their kids go out into public and cause panic?

I think we can do better than that. If you can't prevent your 17-and-under kid from walking out that door, then you have a bigger problem at hand. Call for back-up.

Nothing will happen to them, most adults these days are afraid of everything , including scolding teenagers
