February Wrasslin' |OT| Did somebody not get what they wanted?

The only thing I liked was Del Rio getting destroyed, and knowing his chamber match will probably be a squash. I have no respect for him, hes slow and too methodical in the ring. Takes bumps like Lex Luger.

I really don't like any of these unproven wrestlers. there's too many middle of the road guys right now. I hate it.

Why does Ziggler get killed every week? What are they doing with him? What a wasted year between last WM and now. Shield stuff was good. They are the only new guys I like out of the next generation of superstars. Wyatts alright on the mic, but his in ring skills are trash.

Otherwise, I need Hogan and Flair. These other guys do nothing for me.

Are we somehow back to 2013 again? Bray's proven he can wrestle when he's not booked absolutely shit.
 
F4WOnline.com is reporting that WWE Diva Naomi was expected to win the Divas Championship heading into WrestleMania XXX. She was planned to defeat AJ Lee and be champion heading into New Orleans in April. With her eye injury, it seems like those plans may be changing. Naomi could be out a few months.

Nah, he's the world champion and has wrestled for decades in front of much more hostile crowds. He wouldn't have a hissy fit in the ring because a few guys chanted "same old shit" at him. It was that sort of funny wrestling overacting, too. He picked a group in the crowd that were taunting him and worked them, as he's done before.

It's like Punk in that gif shouting "sit down, marks," which wasn't him breaking character either. It's just a heel working the crowd. There were multiple spots in that Orton/Cena match where Cena caught Orton offguard after he was busy posing or dealing with the crowd.

Yep. Watching that last night, Orton was leaning into it pretty hard. Definitely working the crowd. I thought he did a solid job. His general performance during that match on RAW felt stronger than anything he's done for some time now.

My favorite though was his amazingly overly exaggerated surprise face when Cena kicked out from an RKO. I just said out loud, "acting".


The match was the usual cornball affair with those two, but eh. There's been much, much worse.
 
Thank You Aksana! Probably planned to have Naomi job to one of the Bellas at WM so they could have their WM moment.

Doesn't mean we are safe though might just have Eva win it or something from AJ now as a fuck you and still put it on the bellas
 
Orton has had a year's worth of crowds just straight up rejecting his matches, he's at least managed to roll with the haI mething productive. Still I wish he'd just go full Young Buck and start taunting and backflipping his way into rear chinlocks
 
Naomi is really not ready for the title anyway, she's so sloppy in the ring. Athletic as can be, but no rhyme or reason to it.

More or less just re-emphasizes SoulPlaya's post-RAW rant about nothing ever changing even if Cena was gone, how the WWE only wants to have 2-3 guys booked strong, how they willfully ruin careers of 90% of their talent because they don't have the "Vince" look and hence get preferential treatment (a la Roman Reigns). Good stuff.

Roman's post-Shield merchandise is going to look glorious.
 
I saw Orton live at a house show fight Bryan, he is pretty into working the crowd as a heel. You can tell he loves it. Especially at a house show where he can indulge himself because Daniel Bryan is going to go over anyway and there's no cameras so he can cut loose. He always said he hates being face too, like he's just waiting to be heel so that when he turns heel the characteristics he's kept the entire time make his outbursts and anger seem believable. Dude's fun to watch [when booked right]

also, poor Naomi, that would freakin' suck
 
Too bad about Naomi. Giving her the belt would have gone a long way to creating a new star in the Divas division. Right now, it's AJ and mmmmmaybe Brie. Natalya doesn't feel like a threat, so I can't include her.

I'm currently staying the night in Lebanon, MO in some shit box motel. I was honestlyl surprised they have wifi. Hung out in St. Louis for about an hour and a half probably. Went to the arch. It's okay. The museum stuff was a lot more interesting than actually going up and looking out of tiny windows. And the space capsule like shuttle was pretty sweet, but I'm a small person and I couldn't even stand in it.

I got a lot farther than I thought I would in one day. I'll actually be going through Oklahoma tomorrow so I don't know if a steak dinner is going to happen or not.

No real plan. I'll probably get to Texas at least tomorrow. Maybe. 8 to 10 hours of driving is pretty doable and I doubt I'll stop at anything like the arch. I will definitely be going through OKC and Tulsa tomorrow. I think I'm like 150 miles away from Tulsa right now.
