Nintendo Direct Feb 13, 2014 Thread | 3DS/Wii U Spring games

I am most excited about Next Level Games and post 10PM Direct.

What are these new twists!?

Man, what I would do to have Xenogears revived. BOOOOOOOOOM!
That's my head exploding

Fucking SE man. Xenogears was a legendary series, the story was so freaking insane. Truly the Eva of videogames. In that regard Xenoblade was a big disappointment.

New X trailer? Looking forward to the direct now :)

Hmm, time for a conservative prediction. Totally conservative.

I loved Xenoblade, but its story is NOTHING compared to Xenogears'.

We are descendants of Hyperborea, jumping into hyperspace, en route to Planet Tits!

HOLD ONTO YER BUTTS, WE'RE GOING IN FAST

Remember guys:

1) This Direct is later than usual

2) Bayonetta 2 will most likely be shown (two retweets from Platinum Games executives, only project they're working on with Nintendo is Bayonetta 2 and they don't usually retweet Directs)

3) X will most likely be shown (Soraya Saga, the wife of key Monolith Soft director Tetsuya Takahashi, only retweets when X will be shown, and she retweeted this Direct)

4) There will most likely be a new character reveal for Smash Bros. (Sakurai retweeted the Direct, and usually when Sakurai retweets an upcoming Direct, a new character will be announced)

It definitely seems like this Direct is more hardcore than usual.

This sounds like a retread of GAF wishes / speculation. Looks like whoever wrote that reads GAF.

Unfortunately I'm not really that interesting in any of those. X I'll want to see because it's new but I dislike mechs so I hope it's not a big part of the game.

Bring on Retros Metroid plzzzz....
This

I shall unleash my crazy predictions now. These are mostly NA centric....

  • Trailer for Kirby with US release date.
  • Trailers for Tomadachi Collection in the USA and that Disney game.
  • Trailers for X, Mario Kart, Bayonetta.
  • Zelda DLC for Sonic Lost World.
  • DKC: TF DLC with select levels from the original Donkey Kong Country.
  • New Sonic Boom Trailer.
  • Denpa Men 3 US release information.
  • Highlights for that Chibi Robo Nostaljunk contest.
  • Super Mario Bros. 3 released on Wii U/3DS VC after the Direct.
  • New Smash Bro character.
  • Swapnote Deluxe for all regions. It costs money but it has more features, plus a blocking feature to prevent getting notes from specific people on your friends list, without removing them from your friends list.
  • Yoshi 3DS XL shown. Yoshi's New Island details. And.. Yoshi will be the Smash character we get.

That's my take....

And a Next Level dude.

But unlike Platinum Games, Monolith Soft, and Sora Ltd., Next Level Games clarified that they were just retweeting because they wanted to spread the word...so it fundamentally diminishes their chances at showing something new this Direct.

Meanwhile, Bayonetta 2, X, and Smash Bros. all have real chances at showing up.

Soraya said the actual trailer will be more storyfocused. Your negativity is too late mang.

Where was this? All I saw was that she retweeted the Nintendo tweet.

Edit: Oh, those old comments. IIRC she never said a "proper" trailer would be story focused, she just said the two we've gotten so far were "just teasers."

List of things I want from Tomorrow's Direct
X News
Smash News
Hyrule Warriors
New unannounced games including one available to download right when Direct finishes.
Everything else is just a bonus

Not funny.

So its confirmed to have a SP campaign?

Fundamentally obviously not. But thank you. Wondering what they are currently working on.
