wasn't cboat killed by the ninjas at MS?
Maybe they took over his GAF account. I don't know what to believe anymore!!

Another Cboat post where he adds a disclaimer to cover himself in case it turns out to be BS and you lot lose your minds...smh
Didn't ntkrnl reveal this already anyway?
They've got co-marketing for Destiny too, which will be huge.Hmm. The only way I could see them waiting on this is if TitanFall moves a miraculous number of systems. Unless something has changed, that's all they've got since Sony has the co-marketing deal for Watch Dogs and of course Infamous before that.
Are they or is a $399 vs $499 price? Spec war all you want, the $100 difference is killing sales of the Xbox One.
They are now.

Yep. Probably Assassin's Creed too. Sony's gotten way better at the co-marketing deals.Really? Wow, I didn't know that, that is huge.

The price is still kind of high, but if Halo 2 Anniversary is handled well than I'm in. $400 for good Halo is fine with me.
Probably comes with Titanfall
Correlation does not imply causation. We've see enough gens play out to know tech specs or price along aren't determining factors for victory, it's usually a lot of things. And if tech specs were really that important we'd all be playing PCs.
It likely has more to do with the price, Sony's pedigree for exclusives, not making a single misstep in the last year, and Xbox One being so expensive. Even with a price drop on Xbone Microsoft has to contend with PS4's goodwill and momentum. Tough road ahead for MS unless they have some killer games up their sleeve with that Kinect-less SKU and price drop.

At price parity, you still have to prove value. And it's not like xbox has some sort of exclusive battle won.
I mean shouldn't the $99 Gamecube have skyrocketed?
Kinect 2.0 is easily worth an extra $100 - for exercise games alone. I'm loving Xbox Fitness. Dropping the Kinect would be a mistake me thinks

I can understand their concern. The one is losing in the former main market (US / UK) and is getting stomped everywhere else.
Will Titanfall change this ? If the trend continues after this game, be sure to see a kinectless version sooner than later.
For the most part, everyone assumed Microsoft finally outed him after that huge Titanfall/Xbone leak thread. Good to see that's not the case though.Wow.
People keep saying this. Was he ever dead? i missed something? lol
It's a shame Microsoft has to do this. Kinect voice commands are actually pretty neat.
you shouldn't need Kinect to do voice commands. Just let people use a headset, problem solved.
It seems like a long time has passed since we got any significant Sony leaks (good or bad). Most of the leaking has tilted strongly toward the Xbox side of things. It gets kind of dull hearing only negative Xbox news all the time.
A 10 year old remake? Who does that appeal to besides Halo fans that were going to buy an Xbox One regardless?

Oh well, I forgot that. No, Titanfall being on 2 other platforms limits its effectiveness to be a system seller for the Xbox One. Had Microsoft been able to get the game solely on the Xbox One, then yes it would have made an impact.

The Xbox One has changed it's identity almost every month since the initial reveal.
Where is the counterpoint? Outside Titanfall I'm not seeing it. I have no doubt Sony will beat them in this category in time as well.
Kinect was the only thing that made it different from the PS4.
No because it came so late into a Playstation 2 dominated generation that it was bound to struggle as did the original Xbox.

The rest so far has been comically gimmicky gestures and horrendous titles like Fighters, so they should abandon ship.
