This is Titanfall.

I really like trying to find ways around the map from the match start to the initial combat. Have to keep watch for any jumping at all since bots stay grounded.

The bots see very useless to me, I wish they weren't even in the game, the game's hectic enough without them. Their AI is absolutely horrendous, they feel like they're not supposed to be there.

Without the bots the game would feel extremely empty. It's only 6v6 after all. The issues isn't the bots, it's that their AI, they suck. They should be made more than capable enough to kill pilots, but instead they just stand around waiting to get shot. It's extremely repetitive and it's getting boring.

While I admit, I had fun the first few matches, it's just starting to wear me out now.

Maybe he means player-hosted dedicated servers like PC FPS games of old. That way you can find servers running in your country with minimal latency.

I can't think of a more useful thing that rushing down a bunch of minions to speed up titan respawn. Without all the extra enemies running around, it'd be a lot harder for them to justify the large levels. I think an issue is people seeming them as literally supposed to be serving the purpose of replicating more players whereas they actually just serve a mechanical purpose to the gameplay.

I redeemed a PC code for a friend but he has yet to play the game.

I use the invite friend tab in game and it doesn't do anything.

And you can do that too. Gives you a list of Azure data centers and tells you your ping to it. Choose the one you want and you are good to go. Fuck server browsers.

NO, I mean players rent a server and have their own server. Azure isn't good enough when Australians have 100+ ping to Singapore, the nearest Azure center. Something like Battlefield 2 would have been some Australians would rent their own dedicated server locally to host games.

I was saying maybe the guy who said he wished this game had dedicated servers was talking about that.

Man I absolutely love this game! Been playing it for a few hours and it deserves all the hype it gets.

Technically I've only encountered frames dropped once, but it's been very stable and smooth for me. Will be buying this day one.
