i feel naked without the vortex shield
is the smoke even useful against other titans?
Yup. Smoke loses their lock and it damages them too. When people shield I double dash up, punch + smoke so they have to back off.

I think it drains shields.
Are any of the story elements in the beta?
and how are the AI soldiers? Worthless?

Get out and shoot him. Or use an ability when you're high enough level to use it.how do you get the guy off you when you get rodeo'd?
Specters will light up titans with rockets, other than that they are point.titan fuel
I can't see myself using anything other than suppressor. Anyone disagree?
Also isn't there a burn card that disguises you as a spectre?
And - my pads batteries are dead, and I have no more, I really should have put my charger on sooner.
I'm not surprised as I've been encountering so many bad players. I've let my dad try it out as he usually plays shooters like wolf et and while he does bad in those, he's near the top in this game. So the player base is highly suspect. One of the best supported games for a controller. Using a 360 controller and get MVP every match.
It's perfect. If you know how to play, you will definitely have a fair shot. The controller is no problem here.
I hate it when games have controller support but no aim assist (Black Ops 2, Battlefield).
Been playing for the last hour. SO much fucking fun holy shit. Haven't had this much fun with an FPS since BC2.
Extended mag broI can't see myself using anything other than suppressor. Anyone disagree?
Also, someone earlier in the thread mentioned a perk that improves the jetpack. Was that accurate?

I enjoy playing it like it's Assassin's Creed multiplayer and trying to blend in with packs of grunts.
No USB cable?
Can't say how long the novelty will last, but you can't deny these fun times. Starting to get the hang of traversal - knowing how to rodeo is pretty clutch when not many people understand how to deal with it yet.
Best settings for a quad core i5 and a 560ti to keep it around 50-60 fps?
After playing my first game, I genuinely don't see why this was so hyped. It's a fun game for what it is. It just feels like it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure Titanfall 2 will probably be a much better game.
Regardless is still a beta. I'm impressed. But no SP sucks :lAfter playing my first game, I genuinely don't see why this was so hyped. It's a fun game for what it is. It just feels like it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure Titanfall 2 will probably be a much better game.
Yeah my only issue with the game is performance. I just can't find a happy medium. Trying to find that steady 60fps sweet spot but just can't.Hmm I'm at 2x MSAA, v-sync disabled, texture res high, text filtering anisotropic 8x, lighting high, shadow medium, effects medium, model detail medium, impact marks low, and ragdolls medium and I'm getting drops consistently into the 30s, sometimes high 20s.

I think it's the best MP FPS since CoD4. Easily.
Nope, my PC is in another room (a small storage/computer room) and its hooked up to my living room TV with a 15m cable through the walls vent system - I have a full wireless setup for my KB/trackPad/360 pad.
What...so yeah judge the whole game after 1 match..

I'm going to play more, but is it going to get any more rewarding one hit killing AI drones while trying to find real people?
I don't understand how you have to "try" to find real people. You make it sound like it's 2v2, the maps aren't that big.I'm going to play more, but is it going to get any more rewarding one hit killing AI drones while trying to find real people?

Do you also often fight with other titans, who seem to forget, that they have a melee attack?
I guess I also don't necessarily understand the specific need to systematically locate player-controlled opponents exclusively.I've struggled to find people in, say, attrition when you aren't generally funneled into specific locations.
