How come all the impressions or the main thread isn't just spammed with these type of problems? Are gamers really that eager to overlook problems?
How can they be the only outlet noticing these issues?
I can't help but think deep down inside, Vince Campanella is angry that his new "baby" Titanfall isn't on the PS4. I guarantee you it would be running MUCH better than it is on the XB1.
It might not be full 1080p on a PS4, but it sure as hell wouldn't be dropping to a single-digit slideshow when just walking around a corner inside a building...
He'll never admit it publicly, but I just have this feeling from the tone of his Tweets that he's not happy about the XB1's hardware issues. Or EA's backroom deals with Microsoft.
I'm playing it at 1080p 60 fps with adaptive vsync and max AF 4xAA and it rarely tears. When it does, though, it does it in the strangest places like inside a building or out in the open, in both situations away from battle. So it could probably use some optimizations. It's not AS bad. But there are problems with it too. It should definitely run better. The games not that much of a looker in the first place...
Yeah, recorded that earlier on my XBO:

Giant Bomb wasn't exaggerating with the single digit fps. The game definitely needs some polish. (It's still awesome, tons of fun, everybody should buy it, yadada)
That's the exact thing to happened to me in the beta. It didn't seem like a normal fps drop, but some kind of bug.
Are there still server issues? I thought they were worked out within the first hour or so?
Clear skies in San Francisco. :/

Isn't there an entire review thread this belongs in? I'm confused. Oh well. Game looks good.

They had 3 so far (that I've seen), one which caused the game to lockup. Not saying it's the worst thing ever, it's just how these things always go.
They might not be experiencing them? I only played 3 maps last night (no campaign) and didn't have fps issues and tearing. The servers were rock solid too. I'm curious to see tonight if the issues are with the campaign maps.

The servers are flawless. As I said, the tearing and fps issues are the same as in the beta, so there is nothing dramatically new about that. And that slowdown was definitely a bug.
How can they be the only outlet noticing these issues?

It really does look like a very fun, last gen game.
Not trying to take a potshot but it is what it is. I wouldn't let that stop anyone. Just.. I would wish for a bit more. But I am not a multiplayer guy and this isn't really for me anyways. I just like the robuts.
Flawless is being very generous. I was booted from the PC servers before I could finish the training mode this morning.
I had little issue with the tearing in the beta (and I hate tearing with a passion generally).
When many reviewers say they can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, what makes you think they'd notice some frame drops or screen tearing?
I love Giant Bomb's subtitle, by the way.
"Shaka, when the Titans fell."
Who get's the reference?
During my relatively short playtime, I had a <30ms ping and no problems. Definitely better than what I experienced with EA servers in, say, PvZ:GW

How is it that some streams out there have no hitching or freezes like that? Outlier case?

So they're going to increase the resolution any day now huh?
is there any credibility left in gaming reviews?Outlets can notice all sorts of things. They don't have to report on them.
This, of course.I love Giant Bomb's subtitle, by the way.
