I wasn't 100% sure before but yes, this is now definitely my favourite thread on GAF ever.

It's pretty damn sad how much he tries to milk the Parappa name. It's going to be interesting if Sony gets wind of this. "That's not yours to throw around. You can't be invoking that brand to get people to donate toward an iPad for you. Keep it up, and we'll show you what a real lawsuit looks like."

Amazing that he still won't drop this. If he had a legal team, I'm pretty sure they would've advised him not to comment anymore. He's making things worse with every post.

And where in the hell does he get "500 Million + fans" from? Did PaRappa sell 500 million copies? No. No it didn't.

I can't believe this asshole waste of life is really suing someone for up to $5,000 for "defamation of character" NO ONE KNOWS WHO THE FUCK THIS GUY IS.

I've never heard of him before this thread, like most people here.

I think we should crowd-fund a huge legal team for this kid so he can put this asshole in his place by counter-suing for the small claims court's max($5,000) for not providing the service he was supposed to and for cyber-bullying since that's a thing now.

I'm sure he's bluffing, but just in case: Dred, you know that to sue for slander and defamation of character, you have to be able to prove the statements were false, right? And I have evidence proving that everything I posted on the blog is true, so...

In fact, there's probably a hell of a lot Dred doesn't know. Common sense doesn't appear to be one of his strong points. :p

Omg, I can't believe all the crap this dude is making. Way to ruin your reputation. If the so called 500 million fan base (I really, really doubt it's that big) buys all the crap he's saying, they deserve the role model they have...

I guess that as a lawyer, I'm unusually amused by his threats of legal action or what have you. He has no claim whatsoever, and I love that he's pretending like he's got a whole legal team at the ready. Yeaaaaahh fuckin right.

Edit: also, I think it's worth noting that no lawyer is going to allow him to bring a suit like this. It's an abuse of process to take on a proceeding that you know isn't legitimate.
