I pop in to sate my curiosity over what could have happened to keep this thread regularly on the front page the last few days, get that incredibly ass backwards exchange that led to Camjo-Z getting robbed and skip to the end to get a GAF made rap track that made the GAF so Appalled thing look like babby's first rhymes.

Why didn't I follow this earlier?

Why would Dred's legal team have him suing for 5k? If the OP lives in PA, he has to file the case there, and the small-claims limit in PA is 12k.

He could claim forum non conveniens to get it removed to a NY court, because of the undue hardship of Dred's broke-ass having to take a cab all the way to Philly. Limit for small claims in NY is $5000, if I'm not mistaken.

First of all, you don't use lawyers in small claims court. Second, Camjo has messages from Dred that prove Dred never provided the work that was promised, and never gave the money back. Camjo did something that tens of thousands of Yelp users do daily. If you get ripped off, you have every right to tell other people about it.

A legal team for small claims court? You represent yourself and can't use an attorney.

If he does file a suit I'm pretty sure you'll have no problem having a few members of NeoGaf help you put together a solid defense (and maybe countersuit).
 
It feels kind of surreal that something out of a little Facebook group I've been in for a long time has turned into this giant controversy/legendary GAF thread.

From the time I found that group until this fiasco started, Dred Foxx always seemed like a pretty cool dude and I even checked out one of his songs. It's a shame it came to this.
