that's amazing
Do you know what this "move" references? I've similar attacks in different games like it.

never heard of greninja. Seems pretty lame imo. All these humaniod pokemon miss the spirit of pokemon imo. Have never liked them and I think overall this is a terrible addition to the game. Many other better choices imo.

*brofist*Acrobatics. I taught my Greninja acrobatics.
So, does Greninja hurt Takamaru's chance any?
Pretty excited regardless. Froakie was my pick from pretty early on, though I'm seriously gonna miss Squirtle and Ivysaur. =\
Greninja always screamed Smash potential. I just think many people didn't consider him because it felt like a situation where if you include him you have to include Chesnaught and Delphox (or one of their forms), as well. I think this was due to how TPC didn't give any of the new starters any special emphasis, so they all felt equal... Made it seem unlikely that one of them would become a Smash Brother.
But Sakurai (and TPC) made the right choice -- The tongue-whipping, water-shuriken-slinging frog ninja, Greninja!
People hate Charizard for some reason. People just act like they have bad taste for hipster nerd forum points, but in reality know Zard is the best.
So, does Greninja hurt Takamaru's chance any?
I don't think Ivysaur and Squirtle are necessarily gone. They could easily still be their own characters.

Pokemon has too many reps.
These people get it. The emphasis on this series has gotten stronger with every entry. Jigglypuff is pretty much a lock at this point, so I can only hope Pokemon Trainer has been axed in favor of another, more deserving franchise/character.Too many damn Pokemon in this Smash, eh..
Greninja is pretty much Decapre, a hybrid of pre-existing characters (Vega+Cammy vs. Captain Falcon+Sheik).
Only difference here is that the originals are being replaced by the hybrid.
Humanoid? Really?
Totally. Stands on two legs, has two arms and a head in the same general configuration as a human. I think it's a shame too, would be fun to try to have a 4-legged character.
Also: Is that his tongue? If so, that's awesome. I have no exposure to this gen of pokemon, so I'd never seen this thing before. Seems ok, but if he uses his tongue as a scarf, that elevates him to dope-nasty status.
Not even a video of the many times superior Spiegel Gundam who is clearly a ninja, smh son.

I also can't believe people actually want Mewtwo back. He had his time to shine, plus he doesn't represent the entire series. Let him go. If Sakurai decided to bring him back, then by that logic he'd probably say "fuck it" and bring back Pichu as well. If either of those two were to make in alongside Greninja, Lucario, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard and Pokemon Trainer, we might as well start calling the game Super PokeBros.

But the slots, man, the slots!"There are too many Pokemon now!"
Uh, no. Jigglypuff and Mewtwo could be added and it would have the same number of playable Pokemon as Brawl.
Oh look, a drive-by post from a Pokemon fan, devoid of any reasoning as to why he disagrees. How unexpected. This entire post is full of fuck

I really think both he and Jigglypuff will be unlockables.

Or you know, Charizard is like Charizard from Brawl with a new down special?so i guess charizard is like a flying bowser?

What total crap.
I don't like Star Fox, so let's strip all of those characters out. Ditto F-Zero, or Fire Emblem. They're just wasted slots, because I don't like them- they'd be put to far better use putting more Pokémon in! Screw anyone who likes them, I declare that they're wasted slots.
1: Pokemon is Nintendo's second or third biggest franchise, so it makes sense to add a few. These people get it. The emphasis on this series has gotten stronger with every entry. I highly doubt that.
Anyway, Charizard and Greninja. Awesome. Way to go, Sakurai.
Wonder what Charizard's newfound down-special will be.
Best Direct ever.

Flare Blitz? There was a fire dash move it did. Maybe that's it?
...except he was right in that so far there're only 4 Pokemon reps. You might as well complain that Smash Bros. is full of Mario reps.
