I would have preferred a completely new generation rather than revisit Ruby and Sapphire. I guess I worldwide November release means there's no Pokemon Z coming.

A new generation game came out last year. So will likely be a few years before Generation 7

I hope they add more content to these games, the original Ruby and Sapphire were really bare bones with almost nothing to do after the main game (which can be completed in like 8-12 hours).

Even so, I'm pretty excited and I can't wait to get to use the best grass starter again.

Emerald had a ton of content including postgame. Id say it was one of the richer pokemon games content wise. Hopefully the contests are still the same. Figured the game was in development and being released this year but im hyped anyway.

So does anyone else think this is a financial thing? Not the games, I mean the timing of the announcement. It was just words and boxart, no footage, maybe this would've been announced later if the news was better but now it's a 'don't worry guys money coming soon' thing.

Also, another thought, I hope this isn't all they have for 3DS this year. Would be cool to see more games but they might expect pokemon to carry the whole holiday...
