The big publishers are only going to allow timed DLC and nothing else because at the end of the day the amount of negative PR that would surround a big franchise going console exclusive would harm them in the eyes of gamers and press alike...
Third party exclusivity needs to go the way of the dodo, it's no longer desirable (was it ever?)
And it just creates bad blood between gamers..

They better have at least one. Either they're prepared to spend the money to get some more exclusive content, or they're not really behind the system, and I don't believe that.
They basically need to do this, because exclusives are the only leverage they have, given that all the multiplats will look and play better on PS4. They abandoned the USP of the system. So exclusives it is.

I am sure that there is some kind of over exaggeration here, no studio is going to accept money instead of game sales on the other platforms fully knowing that the PS4 leads the market share almost 2:1 to the XO.

Microsoft did the right thing imo with 3rd parties because the majority of sony's first party studio's closed down during the PS3 era

Either Dragons Dogma 2 or Homefront 2 are my choices, as both I could see running into funding/development issues that MS could help foot the bill in exchange for exclusivity

I am thinking Metal Gear Rising 2. It fits with the Platinum rumor and it would be a third party title. Also, Raiden was originally a GZ Xbox1 exclusive mission.
