I have a theory at least one of them is Monster Hunter on the Xbox One.

Capcom renewed their Monster Hunter trademark (actually a service mark, which could mean it is an MMO of some kind) late December in the US.

It would be a big title both in the West and in Japan. If you are going to try and make headway and really bring the games, this is one to do it with.

This is some amateur sleuthing so I could be way off but after their very comfortable relationship with Dead Rising 3, this would make some modicum of sense.

Monster Hunter is one I've always wondered about. It has a big following...and would make sense if MS wanted to grab the new-gen crowd/fans of the game.

I could see Mass Effect only because sales are so much stronger on Xbox. That would lock me in. Hopefully that doesn't happen though.

You really can't go off last gen for this line of thought. I can assure you ME4 would sell more on PS4 than XB1. And I seriously doubt EA has any more interest in locking up big games to the XB1 platform only when the PS4 is dominating.

Eh its not like last gen didn't exist. Clearly the PS4 has like double the sales of XBO so they'll do better game to game but Mass Effect 1 was exclusively on a MS console for a long time and I remember sales reflecting that. If its a game people identify as a MS game then the sales will still reflect that. Not that it'll outsell the PS4 version but it'll probably be a lot closer than something like Tomb Raider.

Anyone saying Mass Effect or GTA isn't really thinking logically. Those are huge titles and would never be exclusive. Something like Dragons Dogma 2 or Homefront 2 however make sense since they are lower budget titles, not as "popular" as ME or GTA, and can run into dev trouble (as both have) and could use some extra funding from MS to make it out. GTA as an exclusive to either console is laughable.
