Gamespot rumor: Big third-party Xbox One exclusive at E3

Headline says "exclusive" but the quoted source in the article says "exclusive reveal." Gulf of difference between the two.

Not saying a big third party exclusive is an impossibility, though. ntkrnl already leaked Platinum's.

How big of a deal would cyberpunk 2077 be?

pretty huge, a rumor I saw on reddit is that CD Projekt will be at MS event. Witcher gets shown on June 5th I believe, so most likely they are showing cyberpunk. Doubt it'll be exclusive, but Witcher 2 was console exclusive.

According to Bruce its a timed exclusive.

The company that thinks 720 v 1080 is just PR and hates DRM so much they got in bed with MS last year for witcher 3?

lol.
Indeed, the Cyberpunk thing I could believe. I don't know why people seem to think that company is 'above' exclusives. They just said they wouldn't do exclusive content, but that's very different from an exclusive game.

Well, Thuway might have shed some light on this

@thuway: Don't know if 100% accurate on all three. These were the breadcrumbs left behind. Age of Empire, Prince of Persia, Dragon's Dogma 2

Rumor, obviously

If it's a much established multiplatform game (RE, Fallout, GTA, etc.), no way would they use that IP on only one system.

But AoE is first party?

DD2 doesn't seem very likely to me, PoP could be a good fit though.

Why in the world would developers sign a deal that was certain to make them less money?

Well think of it this way. Do you take a guaranteed payment plus incremental revenue on a product that may end up not taking off for a variety of reasons or do you roll the dice and hope that the game is good.

Only a few games are worth rolling the dice on sometimes.

It was already running on PS4, they are a European developer where PS4 dominates and the company gets most of their sales in Europe.... I can 100% get behind an exclusive reveal though like Diablo 3 for PS4.

Ask EA/Respawn.

Do you have actual figures to back that up or are you going off of Mort's comment. Respawn is struggling to get Titanfall fully fleshed out as is. Do you really think they could have split dev time? In addition, MS funded the game when EA wouldn't which is why they had exclusivity. Sony said no. So again tell me how much money EA/Respawn lost on a game that wouldn't have launched with out MS stepping in?

I swear to god, if AOE do not have PC version, I will burn MS headquarter

Already running is irrelevant, Shadow Complex was shown to press on PS3 when Chair was first pimping it.

Being European is irrelevant, MS had plenty of Japanese third party exclusives.

No way cyberpunk is coming out before 2015 / 2016 and MS aren't going to want to wait that long for an exclusive..

They'll want something coming out this year or early next year...

New Dino crisis
Super Dead Rising turbo featuring capcom allstar
Mass effect 4
Fallout 4
Dragon dogma 2

Resident evil 7
Monster hunter 5
Dragon quest 11
GTAV remaster
Saint row 5

Home front 2
Mortal combat VS Killer Instinct
Sonic and Sega and Xbox allstar Racing Transfaring
Valkyria Chronicles 4
Resonance of Fate 2

Half life 3

In bolded are chance.

Still betting on GTAV, ME4 and RE7 - all three.

Dragons Dogma 2 seems like the smartest move.

Capcom is already putting out a similar style of game for PS4, plus, you appease both east and west markets.

My money is down on that

I'll bet the farm on Prince of Persia...didn't CBOAT say something regarding to it last year, and people attributed the Halo "desert" trailer as him being mistaken?

If you want to go after something that doesn't have any sound logic behind it, that's your call. The price would have to be insane to justify such a drastic change.

Mirror's Edge 2? Fortnight? The Division? .... Amped 4?

I hope this E3 lives up to the hype, everyone keeps "getting things out of the way before E3" I hope there is something new left to announce at the show

Dragons Dogma 2, I believe. If Thuway was right about it being in development hell (who the fuck would allow DD to be in dev hell) and MS saved it, they definitely deserve some 1-2 year exclusivity and dlc.

Prince of Persia would be an underwhelming 'exclusive'. It's probably it.

Ugh I'd be so sad about this. Zero desire to get an xbone so it would essentially just reset the POP dev cycle for me. At least the franchise would be alive though.

This is a funny gif. What's the story behind it? Are they friends or is he trying to legit shake him?

This game was played last night. Stephenson was trying to get under Lebron's skin and throw him off his groove. It might have worked because LeBron scored a career playoff low of 7 points because he was in foul trouble the entire game.

Also, the Heat have knocked out the Pacers from the playoffs several years now, so I doubt it very much that they like each other.

Dragon's Dogma 2 makes a ton of sense though.

MS helped fund DR3 and it would be a good counter punch to Sony having Deep Down.

If that's the case, it's Mass Effect 4 or Fallout 4, revealed on their stage.

My money is on Mass Effect 4.

Yaaaawn!!!!!! I'm pretty sure it'll be Battletoads
