Bad wording on my part I suppose. Of course people have the right to be excited for whatever they want. I personally wish there was more shifting around rather than developers being locked into a single franchise, especially in the higher budget part of the business (but then again, it is a business).

MS pretended to leak the whole thing as a game from Japan Studio+From on the internet...Sony kept quiet because they already knew the game is for the X1...then MS releases the game at their E3 show.

Hm... You know one thing I am wondering... in the 1080p 60fps video... Why does it look so much smoother than actual
60 fps at 1080p? This isn't the first game I've seen a video look so smooth, I remember during the BF3 DLC trailer it looked even smoother than 60 fps.

There's a difference between moneyhat and funding. Weren't you one of the fellas arguing that From would never ever go back to exclusivity and that such a thing was impossible? You seemed prerty interested in the franchise then, what changed? (I may be confusing you with someone else and if so I apologize)

(which is a shame..but if it is a Sony exclusive and they did fund it and not moneyhat it, how would that be different to Dead Rising 3 on the XB1)...

I can't wait for this, hope it has a nexus style hub like demons as well.
I wasn't too keen on many of the Dark Souls 2 bosses so i hope they go back to the way Demons did the bosses.

It's not, DR3 is a perfect example of a good exclusive, one that wouldn't exist without MS intervention. Same thing for games like Bayonetta 2. A moneyhat is something like Titanfall, a game that would have come to other consoles had MS not paid to keep them off of them (Zampella himself said it was only timed before MS made it full)

That thing is not a whip. Seems like he has the same weapon in all the clips, some kind of sickle axe that flips out.
Tried to grab the best looks at it.
I might be going crazy, but it seems like we might be looking at different variations of the same weapon. The last one, in particular, looks to have teeth on the opposite edge of the blade while the others don't. Hard to say with the video quality, though.

Simple. Sony made a mistake not publishing DeS in NA/Europe, From went on to do Dark Souls 1 and 2 without Sony, Sony paid them to do another Souls type game for them exclusively. If the game plays like a Souls game the name of the IP doesn't matter. I wouldn't be surprised if ideas from this game make their way into Dark Souls 3.
The souls games have never really done too well graphics wise. You'd think Sony would provide a good engine but from probably did it themselves.
