I could watch this shit all day, I kid you not. I actually just set up PC streaming myself and might give it a shot once I'm a little bit more confident/connection seems consistent.

I actually think having police presence added to the mix can help you out a bit too, though. I won a hack once while patrol cars were swarming an intersection as I hid. So far as I know, they're always hostile to "both" Aidens.

Yep. I mean, I just assumed most of the civilian profiles were randomly generated. Nothing to get worked up about. People of all religions do all kinds of stuff.

I'm part way through Act 2, and the main missions have been really boring so far.

They feel like side missions with cutscenes.

Sneak into this place, hack this thing. Sneak into this other place, hack this thing, and then chase this person.

C'mon, Watch Dogs, let me do something different.

I'm feeling the urge to just spend 70 euros and buy it on PSN.

I need someone to convince me otherwise since I want to play this but I don't want to spend so much money.

I wasn't worked up over this. This is expected when it comes to how many view Christians in the entertainment world.

I will say that people who say they follow Christ and do the things described in your original post, according to the New Testament, are not what Jesus would call His followers. According to Jesus, they are worse off than an unbeliever due to them knowing the truth and not walking in it.

Am I the only one that just lets them kill me if I get seen? I just have to perfectly stealth my way through everything or it doesn't count in my eyes. I know if I get caught I could just shoot my way through easily but that just doesn't fly with me.

In the first couple of hours of main story quests, you get to:

Infiltrate a building either riding the cameras, physically stealthing, or blasting your way in.

You get to hunt down a signal, access the data point, then silently escape from the fixers who decend on you or fight your way out.

You're asked to pick up a fixer in need, and evade police roadblocks to get him to saftey.

The game is pretty varied, and within each encounter there are various ways to complete them.

I'm up to Act 2, I think about half way through, and so far the main missiosn have felt well paced and varied.

You unlock the complete skill tree very early on, it's worth playing until you reach that point just to be able to unlock the more powerful hacks and abilities.

Haha! That's hilarious.

I wish they would implement a melee system into the game beyond press O to incapacitate. Even if it was just a more advanced version of this system where you could punch or use the baton.

I hate that I can shoot civs but can't just punch them.
 
Shit I just remembered I forgot to share button my massive fail earlier. I stealthed a control center succesfully and then on the way out I accidentally hacked a dead guys grenade instead of the exit gate and died. That was the perfect share button moment and I forgot to press it.
 
I've really been enjoying this game. I like that this is open world stealth so much more than open world carnage. Don't get me wrong, I like open world carnage. But this is such a nice change of pace.

It's legitimately challenging, and the name is apt. Getting caught in the open 6 feet from someone with a shotgun is a death sentence, not a minor inconvenience. The mode really rewards preparation, backup plans, and dynamic uses of hacking to take the heat off your physical person.
 
So I've been playing on pc for a few days but the stuttering was really bothering me. Decided to double dip on PS4, so I finish the download and start the game up, play to the part where I blackout the stadium and I get a message saying the game is being installed and it's been at 60% moving 1 to 2% every half hour.

Really! I guess ubi doesn't want me to play the game but they sure did take my money.
 
I was playing it the other day. And I couldn't believe how far we have come throughout the years. Of course Watch_Dogs is not the pinnacle of gaming. But my dear friend, it surely is the kickstarter for this new generation. Every that Ubi Soft did with this game is perfect. The graphics, the story and believe me or not, the main character. People say he is bland. But you have to look behind the mask. He's suffering. He's angry. He's ready to kick some ass. Emotions consume him. HE becomes an emotion by the end. I don't know what to say.


But from the first moment I put this beautiful disc in my fucking PS4 the world became a better place. Next Gen has arrived. After half a year of teasing it's finally here. Thank you Ubi Soft. Thank your for delivering this piece of awesome. I will buy the sequel. Please give me the sequel fast.

So far as I'm concerned this is not part of the subtext of this game whatsoever, barring the generalized notion that any kind of person can be any kind of person.

they unlock by profiling civilians. I have had 3 unlock so far and i'm probably only m3 or 4 missions into Act 1 as well.
 
Is there a way to turn off icons on the map? I'm trying to do all the check-ins and it's hard to find some with all the Mini Games located in The Loop.
 
Getting really sick of every pedestrian reacting hyperbolically whenever I'm driving around. If I'm driving on the sidewalk, it makes sense. If I'm merely speeding down the road it's just annoying.

Oh someone (would link but on mobile) mentioned how the game portrays Christians as hypocrites through the profiler. Ie being listed as a fundamental Christian and making out with a hooker. Just pointing out that I guarantee that Ubi wouldn't allow that to happen with say, a fundamental Muslim. Anyway I would be happily proven wrong if someone could provide a screen shot.

GTA does the same stuff too. Lampoons conservatives all day and barely touches liberals. Not that I have a problem with this, it's their game and they have a right to do whatever they want.
 
Yes, always check cameras. Sometimes you can hide in places where cameras can't see you. Or if there is one camera that can see you, if you're using it..they can't.

I'm pretty certain it's all randomly generated. I found a gang member last night who ran an animal shelter and was on $75000 a year.

What are you talking about? GTA is a gigantic lampooning of everything liberals stand for. There's even an entire radio show doing nothing but mocking the stupid shit hippies are into.

Of course it's randomly generated. There's a massive algorythm that grabs first name, last name, job, age and random fact and mashes them together.

The mere suggestion that Ubisoft is pushing some hidden agenda is insulting to everyone involved.

Oh really? I missed it then. The soundtracks are so good that I always have music on. I was mainly referring to Republican Space Rangers or whatever it's called. Anyway I stand corrected.
