Slim that we'd get all 3. We're holding out hope for even one at this point.
1. Mother 3 being referenced in the Robot Chicken thing. Star Fox was too and we got Star Fox U.
2. Reggie said he was wearing a Metroid pin today. That's all there is to it.

Mother 3 - was mentioned in the Digital Event, in the same context as Star Fox, which was then announced as coming.
Metroid - Reggie was wearing the pin at VGX and said he was going to wear it again today (I don't think this is foreshadowing, but people do)
Between Zelda Williams bringing a prop of Majora's Mask to the invitational, and the scene in Hyrule Warriors where you drag down the moon to take out Argorok... I am SO READY for a Majora's Mask 3D.

Yeah it seems that MM3D was hinted in many different places, and i'd be ecstatic to play it because as with OOT3D, this will be my first experience with the game.
But, i really want a Metroid game, 3DS is perfect for it.

Hell, let's add Mega Man as well then while we're at it! Not that it ever has been hinted at (apart from Mega Man's inclusion in Smash Bros. - which isn't really a hint) but a man can dream, right?

Likelier for WiiU and not 3DS, this time:
Metroid, Mother 3
Earthbound was re-released on WiiU, via VC. Mother 3 is a GBA game and can be made available on WiiU via GBA VC. With Earthbound having been added, Mother 3 continuity on WiiU, makes more sense. Additionally, StarFox was called out during the DE and was revealed for WiiU. Mother 3, also being called out at the DE, could further be another WiiU clue.
Metroid having been hinted by Reggie, via a lapel pin, alongside a Retro employee at VGX makes this likely. I feel Retro is reinventing Metroid (like DKCR). Seemingly, he wore the lapel pin while discussing a WiiU game.

Out of all of the original Streepass puzzles, Pikmin and Metroid have not yet received a 3DS game. Even the Smash figures puzzle came to fruition

All I want is a dragon quest VII localization.
Mother 3 would be a nice consolation prize. I really hope it isnt Metroid, and I would be kind of indifferent if it was Majora's Mask.

Bust it is then. I can't see them hyping up a localization, unless it is part of a greater "Support Dragon Quest" initiative.

Q: The pins – do they tie into game announcements. Because I also did not see Metroid yet.
A: Funny you should ask. I am also wearing a Metroid pin tomorrow. [Interviewer gasp] But no, we actually have an employee in the Nintentdo store in New York who makes these by hand [blah blah blah … So that’s the origin of these pins.
"Funny you should ask" combined with the reference to "tomorrow" (now today) sure sounds suspicious to me.

Yeah, but he's in the past hinted that there was meaning to the Metroid pin. Even if they don't show anything today, I do believe that somewhere, some work is being done on a Metroid game of some kind.

I doubt any of the speculated games are for Wii U, if they had something for Wii U in a state to be revealed it would have been at the digital event, which was almost all about pimping the Wii U and not the 3DS. But I guess you could see Wii U getting a Virtual Console style release of Mother 3.

I don't think it's Majora's Mask because the presentation's 90 minutes. You don't really need 90 minutes to show off a remake of a fairly popular game.
Hour for presentation, 30 minutes for questions. The smash roundtable was exactly this.

I'm leaning Pikmin:
Pikmin Streetpass puzzle (one of the few original puzzles without a 3DS game).
Miyamoto's 3DS, during the DE (sitting next to a screen displaying StarFox) had Pikmin stickers on it.
Miyamoto wore a Pikmin shirt and other Treehouse members wore Pikmin pins (and such), during Live@Treehouse yesterday.
It won't be Mother 3.
Both games called out during the DE, were revealed for WiiU (MarioMaker, StarFox). Mother 3 will probably join Earthbound on WiiU.

Oh cool, it got released in Japan in English? Bit of a bummer I have to buy another 3DS, but at least I'll understand it!
I thought Miyamoto or Nintendo said that Pikmin wasn't a good fit for a handheld, or did I remember that wrong?

Am I terrible for looking forward to the inevitable meltdowns? It's happening 2am here UK time, and there's no way I'm staying up for it. The thread will be too mega by then for me to go through all the meltdown posts 
Best thing about living in Europe? I'll go to sleep in a few hours and when I wake up everything will be out in the wild. I'll save myself the extremely tense minutes that decide whether this will be a crushing disappointment or the second coming of Christ. Or even if it's a real thing after all the hype.

It's gonna be a NFC game, S.T.E.A.M, some other new IP, or Metroid. Nothing else.

What if it's none of those? Dun dun dun DUNNNNNNN!
I honestly expect it to be Majora, and whether it is or isn't I won't be bothered as I don't really play Zelda games. Outside of this, I have no expectations going into this announcement, as it leads to inevitable disappointment. I'm happy with 3DS because Fantasy Life is coming.
