Speaking of the electrictigergerbil, I wonder why it was left out of brawl along with articuno and zapdos? Hope the trios are complete this time.
Probably time constraints.

Alright. So assuming that Sakurai is ignoring the garbage data, that's 8 variations! Then there's also his custom moves...
Ripping them from melee and throwing on some prettier effects couldn't have been too hard...tho that an assumption since i'm no developer lol.

So custom moves for fruit is namco character, you think?
His up b is the trampoline, side b is pellet thing w/ classic pac-man, down B is fire hydrant... so that's the only alternative, right?
The trampoline is direct from Mappy, so what if that's just the effect for the Namco move?
He uses it during the smash roundtable, it's almost definitely his Up B.
That's his side special. So what's the move where he transforms and eats Power Pellets?
That's his side special.

It would appear so.And now we know all of his specials?
I hope you can get the garbage data if you keep charging or whatever for an unreasonable amount of time after the key.Cherry (100 points): Level 1.

There's also his Namco callback move:
And those might not be all of them, but they seem to all have different effects. The Galaxia ship is probably what we're seeing here:
He's got a surprising amount of complexity for such a basic guy.
The trampoline is direct from Mappy, so what if that's just the effect for the Namco move?
I think Namco callback is pretty much taunt since the animation is different comparing to Fruit Bonus.
I think Galagxa ship is an item or a part of S-Flag. I dunno tho.
We've seen differences (albiet very minor) in animations with Kirby's Ice customization, so it's not totally unheard of.
The ship which picks up villager is probably from the S-Flag, but Pac-Man's action seems to come from him since there's a few frames before where he's not doing anything.
Have we seen his grab? Maybe it's that.
I don't think it's S-flag at all.

You can only have 1 assist trophy at a time, and if s flag works like assist trophies, then the picture I just posted makes no sense.
If I had to guess, S flag is either an item that forces everyone to do the s flag pose or one of pac-man's custom moves.
What, really? Is that confirmed for this game, or is that just in Brawl? You can only have 1 assist trophy at a time, and if s flag works like assist trophies, then the picture I just posted makes no sense.

That's kind of a shame. I guess I won't really notice it, but it can be annoying when item matches are lacking chaos.
Random Garbage Data (half the map): Level 256
Brawl only had one assist trophy at a time, and limited Pokeballs to three at a time. We don't know for certain about this one, but nobody's seen more than one assist trophy on screen at once.
Probably not a move. His pose is completely different from the fruit move or the retro move poses.I don't think it's S-flag at all.

I was watching the Nintendo Digital Event Mii explanation in Japanese and I noticed that, when Lincoln, Elijah Wood and Ice-T show up, Ice-T gets replaced by another guy. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know who he is?

Pac-man's S flag is a different color, indicating that he might be the one who picked it up.I still hold to the idea that it's an item that forces everyone else to do the s-flag pose, probably for slightly less time than you. Almost like a global sleep. Even if it is the same time as you, it could be used to make people fall off a cliff, if they're mid-air.

No need to be wishy-washy, you're absolutely correct: it's Shinya Arino. (I checked the kanji in Google Translate last week, it checks out.)
DK deserves a good stage. He hasn't had a decent stage since the N64.
What does it say for Elijah I wonder since surely the "wood like to" pun is lost in translation?I was watching the Nintendo Digital Event Mii explanation in Japanese and I noticed that, when Lincoln, Elijah Wood and Ice-T show up, Ice-T gets replaced by another guy. The only constant of a Mii is their face. Body type depends on the game. Here's a dumb observation: why do Miis have fingers in this game? Don't they have ball hands in everything else?

They have fingers too in an other game, don't remember which one.

Every Japanese character splash to date simply reads "[character name] joins the battle." None of them have puns. What does it say for Elijah I wonder since surely the "wood like to" pun is lost in translation?
I agree with him entirely.

Pellet and classic characters are the same move, outside of Galaxian which is a fruit. I don't think if the pellet is a different custom variation of the move with Mappy, but they're the same move. Check out where Pacman holds his hands for fruit vs pellet/retroSo custom moves for fruit is namco character, you think?
