Uh it's gonna be Brazil vs Argentina/Netherlands in the finals

Netherlands look scary good

It would be almost impossible for Germany not to advance, so I'm not sure that they'll be going all-out on Thursday. Maybe I'm missing something though.

"Ronaldo cut his hair to match the scar of a young fan who had surgery to remove a brain tumor last week"

Cristiano Ronaldo was asked to donate his cleats for a charity auction benefitting a 10-month-old child suffering from a brain disorder. The world’s top soccer player went a little further than that.

Ronaldo, the Real Madrid star who was Fifa’s Ballon d’Or winner as the world’s top player, will pay the full $83,000 cost of the surgery for young Erik Ortiz Cruz.

Erik suffers from cortical dysplasia, a condition that can lead to as many as 30 seizures a day. When the child came to Ronaldo’s attention, he offered to pay for the costly operation. In 2012, Ronaldo paid for cancer treatment for a nine-year-old and has been known to lend his time for other sick children.

Pure class. Makes me not even care about the game.

Probably a bit late but there is absolutely no reason for Germany to play for a draw. Even if they lose, the worst case scenario still involves a five goal swing which is terribly unlikely.

Current odds to advance:

- Germany: 99.7 percent
- United States: 76 percent
- Ghana: 19 percent
- Portugal: 5 percent

USA! USA! USA!
I'll be totally shook come Thursday.

Hail to the KING baby
He would play him to get some action on the pitch for one of their best players in a game that doesn't really mean that much to Germany.

Winning the group does mean something to them right? I don't see either side throwing it, but I also don't see them taking unnecessary risks or pushing forward when they are sitting pretty.

The problem with the U.S. though is you have guys like Bradley and Cameron who will just hand you opportunities on a silver platter. That's my biggest concern. I hope Klinsmann benches Bradley in a Donovanesque move. It's two games in a row where it felt like he was actively making an effort to lose games (the last-minute cross for no reason in the Ghana game).

It's very similar to the end of the Portugal game actually. They weren't even remotely happy with scoring that goal because they knew they had already effectively lost. They only had 2.5 men forward! But Bradley tosses it to you, doesn't even bother to chase you down to compensate, and then Cameron and Gonzalez decide not to mark the only man in the box it's like "well guess I have to score this." And the reaction from the Portugese players suited the moment.

Thursday is going to wreck my nerves.

He's got the douchiest face in soccer and flops way to often but he is an amazing person and football player.

I also have a funny story about him I heard from a sport scientist worked with him. (Hint hes impressed by men's croches)

Former panzer commander raises eagle team of ragtag teenagers and Tom Howard to fight elite panzer dragoons in a last ditch effort to save the world. Will his conflict of loyalty lead to the decimation of his newfound comrades? Or will he learn the power of friendship and achieve success?

It's just like my Japanese animes

I'm not much into Japan Anime' but I am into Street Fighter...

Even if they are both cut from the same cloth: we all know Ryu is always stronger than Ken.. ;)

Bradley was sht at the end to give it away like that...but still 85-90degree weather, humid as hell, running non stop for 93minutes, pressured in an instant by 3 Portuguese players...guess theres a huge chances of you messing up. but still....Bradley pls

the right side of the group of 16 looks harder than the left

assuming everything holds the right side will have Germany, Netherlands, Argentina and possibly France and Mexico

the left has Brazil and USA

Yeah, Thursday's gonna be a mess. The USA could be qualified/not qualified like 5 different times over the two hours. And there's very few realistic scenarios where we aren't biting nails over the last few minutes.

I've become to like Ronaldo as a person, and a football icon over the years... good lad, even with all the media hype, expectations and weight on his shoulders.
Me too, i used to hate him but i've changed my mind about him, at the same time my hatred for Messi has grown, weird but now i just don't like Messi at all. I don't mean hate hate btw.

ronaldo isn't gay lol he is just a super pretty boy

Ela Hadrun

Probably plays more games than you
Idk but the store is they were tracking eye movement and he was impressed by an ass and crouch of another dude.

Speaking as a straight lady, the ass quality this man is constantly surrounded by is extremely high. If he was impressed, doesn't mean he was interested. But if that's his angle, fucking good for him cause every day must be fucking candyland
