Will be cheering for my fave Holland tonight! Too bad RVP is suspended.
You still have "le cut inside man". You'll be fine.
I miss Croatia-Mexico
Hodgson, you absolute dickhead. Lampard is starting against Costa Rica when it's dead rubber for us, his last cap, and we have 3 centre midfielders who could do with the international experience in Henderson, Barkley and Wilshere. There couldn't be a better time to try those 3 out in a 4-3-3
Johnson-----Cahill----Jagielka-----Shaw
----------------Henderson----------------------
---------------------------Wilshere--------------
---------------------Barkley----------------------
---------Sturridge------------------Sterling---
----------------------Rooney---------------------
Done. And Johnson's only in there because Jones is not a rightback. Playing Lampard is a sentimental waste of time
Which match are you guys prioritizing? Spain and Aussies or Chile and Netherlands?
Australia and Spain has not been a real "test" for you Chileans... we'll see your true power level against Netherlands.
I think Mexico - Chile can be the most equal and fierce match on the round of 16.
rooney as a number 9?
i've been bleating like a lamb in a vice about england adopting a 4 3 3 since the italy game. it's such a natural shape for our pacebaby squad and france are showing how well it can work in the current international game.
but yeah, there's the rooney question. he's still probably our best individual player, but can he really function as a target man? he just doesn't look comfortable with his back to goal like sturridge does. though i guess the idea of a 4 3 3 is to mitigate those situations.
Can't believe Kuyt is playing.

First thing I did was check up on wikipedia how old Kuyt is. (33)
This is the supposed line up for England tommorow.

blame Germany and Austria 1982
cbc.ca thankfully has both games available on stream.
Was group B playing the third match before group A settled well in advance?
