This will get better as more people join the seed pool, right now there is "only" 500 mbits dedicated to seeding. Some people are at 72% now, so hopefully at least a few are going to seed.

Holy fucking shit. This must be the best looking cross-gen game ever.
 
This game looks amazing but that pop in is horrendous. I really hope this gets fixed by release.

Also, doing a peace walker playthrough now and it's just hit me how much I am going to miss Hayter. I accepted Sutherland after a month it was announced but now I just want to cry

Don't lose hope so fast, maybe he's in.

Hayter was terrible in Peace Walker, someone forgot to tell him not to use his Old Snake voice. It was by far his worst performance yet.

I think his voice is "terrible" anyway, but its still iconic and I'm gonna miss it, I love his terrible voice

The whole package is looking incredible, so much for the ones who were joking about downgrades..

Still,they are still missing a very important animation: the guard picking up his damned radio and informing his people about the intruder.


I really dislike the instant alerts and psychic guards, it just feels weird. It's even more weird when we had reports from some sites that they saw a guard calling out for an alert and the player managed to stop them first, even after missing the reflex shot. Was it a different demo? Were they allucinating?

Also, that demo was tweaked a bit, right? I mean, the end results weren't so hot and still managed to get an S. Maybe they are being more lenient this time? If a player had an alert, killed 13 guys AND used Crutch Mode it would end up in a C or B in GZ.
 
Holy shit, the 6GB file looks so good! Shimmering and jaggies since I had my eyes very close to the monitor but still amazing. Can't wait to play this on my projector!

Watched a bit of the 720p60 stream, silky smooth goodness, thanks! Will download the torrent overnight. Man, you can really see the very near popup and low AF now. It's still a beautiful game but those kind of details, shadows etc. smudge the overall IQ a bit. Still, lots of work on the game left, might see improvements in that regard.

It was tweaked, and all that reflex stuff can be turned off or greatly limited. I have some gripes with the fulton, though you spend out of your economy so hopefully they have that balanced so it's not all infinitely purchasable resources like in 4.

MGS has always balanced extremely deep gameplay with some very "gamey" representations of some of the actions. It hasn't broken the game as much as it's made it harder. I'm hoping this is the case with the guards, because I can't have them be dumb and fallible when I can fulton them into oblivion without breaking a sweat.
