Nice nice. Some of the achievements are mego bullshit though, like the hardest difficulty that doesn't have saving allowed.
Yeah at least that's what I gleaned from the description.Lol what. So if you die, you start at the beginning of the mission?
Umm, so how do I contact support. I'm looking around the support site but can't find a link anywhere. Somehow my Gunpoint achievements didnt get tracked.
Try pressing "Spend it" on the Playfire site. You will be redirected to GMG.com. Hopefully, it will update your credit. So the EVE Free Trial trick didn't work for me. Any other ways to make the credit update itself faster?

My Battleblock achievement is still bugged.
Is cheating generally an acceptable thing to do?What's the overall opinion and risk of using SAM (Steam Achievement Manager) to unlock achievements on games for the Playfire rewards?
I know valve turns the blind eye (at least for now) when using SAM for card drops. What about achivement unlocking and playfire rewards caching in?
Edit: oh, a little more research made me find out that they look for unusual activity on accounts and do some research. Interesting - good to hear.
Try freeing a few more, that worked for me.

Don't expect to get the .50 reward for Castle Crashers in any sort of reasonable amount of time if you're playing solo, the level design reaches a point that is very clearly intended for multiplayer resurrections which forces you to completely replay entire levels if you die even once when you're alone, and the item you need for that achievement is quite a ways into the game. The .10 and .25 you can get within an hour or so though.
Game isn't that punishing, even if I have died a few times playing solo.Don't expect to get the .50 reward for Castle Crashers in any sort of reasonable amount of time if you're playing solo, the level design reaches a point that is very clearly intended for multiplayer resurrections which forces you to completely replay entire levels if you die even once when you're alone, and the item you need for that achievement is quite a ways into the game. It's not too hard though, you do know you can stock up to 5 potions right? You can buy those in the multiple shops in the map along the way.
I get all the rewards solo pretty easily by just abusing the jump + heavy attack to juggle enemies all the way through the desert. Steam timer said I've played 3 hours total. Minus the idling for cards that I did, you probably need less than 2 hours to do all the achievements.
Having to redo entire levels including multiple bosses because I got killed in two hits by the larger mobs or by bosses I've never seen before just gets increasingly obnoxious and anything but fun. Doesn't do you much good to have 5 potions if the mobs get lucky and kill you in a couple of hits.
Is there a difficulty setting? I don't remember the mobs or bosses being that powerful?
Two hits and you're dead? Doesn't seem right, that's pretty weird.
edit: Oh, did you not spend a few points when leveling up to the defense/hp stat?
I put probably 10 points into Defense, I guess it needed more. The annoying parts were the volcano level and the industrialists castle, both had no checkpoints. I didn't know about the continual jump/heavy attack mentioned above, that did make things a lot easier. It just gets really annoying having to redo 5-10 minutes worth of trash when that big guy body slammed me a couple of times to death or trying to learn the bosses in the volcano level. Doesn't help that I hate using the triggers on this controller and you can't remap the controls. Ended up taking me about three and a half hours to get to the area with the shovel but probably half of that was in the last few levels. Funny thing is, that desert level and the ufo after it were both stupidly easy.
Ah, glad that jump attack thing helped and you got the achievement at least.
FWIW I thought the game was decent enough solo. I imagine it's a pretty fun time with coop.
Oh well, two less game off my backlog. With the bundle price mistake and the playfire rewards + the cards the games pays for itself at least and more.
Click on door 430 five times
It's not quite as easy as it sounds but the narrator will guide you, I'll list the directions here as well. Click on door 430 five times, then twenty times, then fifty times. Then go to door 417 and click on it twenty times. Then click on door 437. After that click on door 415 ten times. Then go back to door 437 and give that a click. Then click on the copy machine. After that go back to door 417 and click on that. Then use the nearby box to climb on top of employee 419's desk. Then click on door 416. And then click the copy machine once more. And finally click five times on door 430 to get the achievement!

That said, from today you're going to see us tinkering with values of those rewards and the number of rewards that are available, especially if it's a really cheap game. Generally speaking, there will be less rewards to earn on games we don't sell. Conversely though, you may see more rewards on games that are available on GMG, and more opportunities to earn cool rewards thanks to the close relationships we have with publishers and developers. Which brings me on to where we want to take the Playfire Rewards BETA next...
Vouchers instead of credit? Meh, hopefully not.
Ah well, fun while it lasted indeed. But focusing on games GMG actually sells is just a logical step. I hope we get to keep our current credit at least.
I just hope this won't become another AMD Gaming Evolved, "exclusive beta access" and "discounted merch" sounds very much like it; that reward program is bs.
I'd be fine with the idea if GMG was putting more effort into recruiting games. Maybe they just haven't had luck, but it seems like a LOT of notable smaller titles either never show up or take forever. And given smaller titles are greater in number (especially in the summer doldrums), they'd seem like the best source of credits.
Obviously listening to you guys well help us focus it to meet your needs and to be more interesting. We'll still do credit, but we think the combination of the two has more potential. For example, if you play a game to completion, then you might be more interested in free or discounted DLC as a reward. Or if you've got or played all the games in one series, you might be really interested in getting early access to the next game. We want to keep the reward relevant, not dull 'you played a game, have some discount on something you never had any interest in and isn't related'.
Truth is, time will tell. We're all gamers at heart in the GMG/Playfire office, so we want to make this more exciting with lots of variety, rather than boring like some of the other loyalty programs out there.
Very much this. I wanted to buy Transistor, Killer is Dead and Shovel Knight with my credit, but none of the games showed up.

All seems fair enough.
One request though. I'm guessing the Playfire "Most wanted" thing on the homepage is regional. Can you guys somehow change or remove that?

Shit is embarrassing :|
The only thing I'd suggest, is let both us and the developers know when you really want to see a game on GMG. I can always pass that on to our trading team and it really helps them when we can show how many people really want to play their game.
I tweet @greenmangaming and the dev/pub for every game I'd like to buy on GMG, I never get a reply.![]()

I've kicked the relevant personWhat's your twitter handle at of interest. PM if you don't want to share here.
Conversely, I usually do get a reply. Sorry for stealing your replies.
